Of all the varied and beautiful locations to explore in Genshin Impact's world of Teyvat, the Qingyun mountains seem to be chockful of secrets and side quests waiting for you to uncover.
While the terrain itself may be a cause for hesitation, the rewards that await you for completing the Three Divine Birds puzzle should be more than enough to carry you up to the top of Qingyun Peak and beyond. So get your climbing gear and glider ready because this puzzle will be taking you all across this mountainous region.

How To Start The Three Divine Birds Puzzle
Starting the Three Divine Birds Puzzle is essentially a three-step process.
- Scale Qingyun Peak. This is a tough climb, but as long as you pace yourself and manage your stamina well, you should make it up without too much trouble.
- Activate the Teleport Waypoint and then head over to the big pedestal.
- Interact with the pedestal to receive a clue about the three mountains and the three divine birds in Genshin Impact.
The three mountains in question will be Mount Hulao, Mount Aozang, and another area close by on Qingyun Peak. In addition, you will discover there are three divine bird statues, one stationed atop each mountain peak.
Three Divine Birds Puzzle Solution
The puzzle is to rotate the three divine bird statues until they all face back towards the pedestal at Qingyun Peak. Then, wait a few seconds after rotating each statue into the correct position for a quick cutscene showing a beam of light shine from the bird back to the pedestal.
The point closest to Qingyun Peak, where you start, should be the easiest to reach since it isn't quite as high up as the others. So glide as far as you can on the wind and make your way up to the highest point. Then, simply rotate, wait a few moments for the light to appear, and head off.
Mount Aozang will be the peak located slightly to the South of the lake and uses much the same tactics to surmount. Once at the top, you will find another bird statue you can rotate.
Your last stop will be Mount Hulao to the West. Make sure you climb all the way to the top here, even though the bird statue is on a lower section. There's a Teleport Waypoint there that you'll want to turn on just in case since you will have to make a glide over to the statue. It isn't very risky, but in Genshin Impact, you're better safe than sorry. Once again, rotate the bird statue and watch the light shine.
With all three birds looking in the correct direction, you've got four more steps to close out the puzzle.
- Warp back to Qingyun Peak and return to the pedestal.
- Ride the newly formed wind current straight up to elevated stone platforms.
- Jump across the platforms to a second updraft.
- Ride the second updraft to a final set of platforms.
- Navigate the second set of platforms to reach a floating island.
Genshin Impact's payout for all of that climbing, rotating, and jumping to unravel the Three Divine Birds puzzle is a set of treasure chests and a Geoculus waiting for you. Just be careful when looting the chests since items have the potential to bounce and actually fall off of the small island.
