Hu Tao is here with a big new story quest that you can unlock after reaching Adventure Level 26. "Papilio Charontis" is going to be your big task for the next little while, but on Friday a brand new event will come up that will provide Genshin Impact players with some much-needed materials.

It's called "Vishaps and Where To Find Them," and as the name implies, you'll be tasked with going on expeditions to murder some Geovishaps.

You'll have to be Adventure Rank 20 or above to start the quest by talking to Katheryne in Liyue Harbor. She's commissioning adventurers to go investigate some Geovishap sightings. Unlike normal expeditions, Travelers can send multiple characters at once, with each character above the first providing an escalating chance of getting bonus rewards.

Each investigation has a chance at providing Primogens, but bonus rewards can include Mora, Hero's Wit, some guides, or a Debris of Decarabian's City, depending on the investigation's rank. The higher the rank, the better the rewards.

"Geovishaps and Where To Find Them" starts on Friday, March 5, and runs until March 12. You'll have an extra three days to claim any rewards from Katheryine following the conclusion of the event.

Geovishaps is going to be a great way to accrue Primogems, but there's an even easier way to grab some going on right now. The latest web event, the Daily Check-In, requires that you just visit the Hoyolab website on the daily and click an icon for 31 days. And best of all, on your first check-in, you'll get a bonus of 100 free Primogems.

You can check out the details for getting your free Primogems here, and don't forget to start rolling on Hu Tao's banner, which might also include four-star characters like Xingqui, Xiangling, and Chongyun.
