Genshin Impact's Yae Miko is making history as the strongest catalyst wielder to date, beating out Klee's max base attack of 311 with her max base attack of 340. Objectively speaking, this five-star Electro user has it all: easily triggered elemental reactions, consistent passive damage, and a fast-building and powerful elemental burst.

Elemental mastery, crit damage, attack, and energy recharge are all strong weapon sub-stats in the hands of the Guuji of the Grand Narakumi Shrine. Because of this, Yae Miko is a very flexible character, and there is a wide array of options in terms of her weapon. With the introduction of Dendro in patch 3.0, Yae Miko is excellent in Dendro reaction teams.

10 Thrilling Tales Of Dragon Slayers

the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers catalyst in Genshin Impact

A three-star weapon fit for players who are still in the early stages of the game, Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is highly accessible and easy to refine. Its sub-stat is HP, which isn't particularly helpful to Yae Miko herself, but the effect that builds through weapon refinement can be immensely helpful for the rest of her team.

At refinement rank five, every time a character is switched to on the field, they gain a 48 percent increase in attack for ten seconds. This bonus can lead to teammates dealing massive blows. The main downside is that this effect can only be triggered every 20 seconds.

9 Hakushin Ring

Genshin Impact Hakushin Ring

Once you beat the Miasmic Tumor boss, you gain blueprints for the Hakushin Ring. This makes this weapon highly accessible and relatively easy to refine. Additionally, the Energy Recharge sub-stat on this catalyst makes it a good choice for Yae Miko, who works best when she can put her high-cost elemental burst out relatively often.

The refinement effect for the Hakushin exists specifically for Lisa and Yae since it hinges on the wielder's ability to deal Electro damage. Whenever you trigger an Electro-based reaction, teammates with an element involved in that reaction get a six-second elemental damage increase. For example, if Quicken is triggered, any Dendro character on the team along with any electro character on the team gets to reap the benefits of this effect.

8 Oathsworn Eye

This four-star weapon was introduced with the release of version 2.5, and it has made quite the splash -- pun intended. Only available through the Three Realms Gateway Offering event, this catalyst works well with a range of characters, including but not limited to Klee, Kokomi, Mona, and Yae.

Since its sub-stat is ATK%, the Oathsworn Eye is a great fit for characters who fill the DPS or sub-DPS role. When the wielder casts their elemental burst, the weapon increases energy recharge for ten seconds. This is particularly useful for Yae Miko, whose elemental skill cooldown is reset when she uses her elemental burst. This will maximise the time she can keep her Sesshou Sakura on the field.

7 Solar Pearl

Icon of the Solar Pearl catalyst in Genshin Impact

This option is unfortunately not available to F2P players, as it is only attainable through the paid battle pass system. However, this four-star weapon is still an excellent pick if you have it. After all, it has the ever-so-elusive crit rate sub-stat, meaning it can help any catalyst user output loads of damage if it's paired with the right artifacts.

It's also important to note that the refinement rank effect increases elemental skill and elemental burst damage. Since Yae Miko is heavily reliant on the damage dealt by her talents, the Solar Pearl can be just the weapon to help turn her into a force of mass destruction.

6 Mappa Mare

The Mappa Mare catalyst icon from Genshin Impact

Mappa Mare is an excellent F2P catalyst that can be forged. This weapon will be a decent choice for Yae Miko in a Dendro-focused team, and she will benefit from the elemental mastery sub-stat to improve her reaction damage. Due to the craftable nature of this catalyst, you can get it to R5 fairly easily.

The weapon's passive effect works well with Yae's typical rotation. When you trigger an elemental reaction, Yae will get an eight percent bonus to her elemental damage that lasts for ten seconds. This effect can stack twice. If you're using off-field supports with Yae, you should use your normal attack to get some elemental reactions and then use her skill, finishing with the burst.

5 The Widsith

Icon of the The Widsith catalyst in Genshin Impact

The Widsith is widely regarded as the best 4-star weapon for Yae Miko. This is specifically the case at refinement rank five, when it's at its most powerful. When a character brandishing this weapon takes the field, one of three possible songs will play accompanied by a unique music note that appears above the wielder's head. The possible songs are Recitative: ATK is increased by 120%, Aria: all elemental DMG is increased by 96%, and Interlude: elemental mastery is increased by 480.

The effect lasts for ten seconds and can only be triggered every 30 seconds. The somewhat long effect cooldown time and RNG-based play are balanced out by the massive stat increases this weapon grants. If that wasn't enough, the CRIT damage sub-stat makes it an even stronger choice of weapon. For Yae Miko, who can put out massive bouts of damage while simultaneously triggering elemental reactions, The Widsith can help her tear through the enemy lines effortlessly.

4 Skyward Atlas

With attack as its sub-stat and a refinement effect that increases elemental damage, this weapon already has some strong selling points. The real blessing that this catalyst provides, however, is what is described in-game as The Favor of the Clouds.

This effect gives normal attacks a 50 percent chance of triggering Favour, which summons orbs that actively seek out nearby opponents to deal damage. At refinement one, this damage is equal to 160 percent of your attack stat; at refinement rank five, that percentage increases to 320. Like any high-damage catalyst user, Yae Miko can benefit immensely from this.

3 Lost Prayer To The Sacred Winds

Model of the Lost Prayer To The Sacred Winds catalyst and its Description in Genshin Impact

Being one of the few catalysts in Genshin to have a crit-rate sub-stat, this weapon stands out as an excellent choice for Yae Miko. It has a staggering 608 base attack stat at level 90, which is considerably high for a catalyst when paired with Yae Miko's already high base attack.

The passive effect will enhance Yae's strikes even further the longer she's in a fight. The wielder of this weapon gets an eight percent bonus to their elemental damage every four seconds, stacking four times for a total of 32 percent. This stat can be increased with further refinements, but R1 is already powerful.

2 A Thousand Floating Dreams

A Thousand Floating Dreams catalys With Description in Genshin Impact

The Thousand Floating Dreams catalyst is Nahida's signature weapon, but it is an incredibly good catalyst for Yae Miko if you run her in a Dendeo Team. With the elemental mastery sub-stat, you can further increase Yae Miko's Dendro reactions, and since Dendro and Electro-based reactions are so powerful, this will be a top contender for Yae's best weapon.

The passive effect also provides various buffs to your party, making it even more useful. If you have the same element types in your party, you will get a bonus to Elemental Mastery. Or the equipping character will get bonus damage to their elemental type. Both of these effects can stack three times. More importantly, equipping this weapon will also provide another flat elemental mastery boost to everyone in the team, excluding the person wielding this weapon.

1 Kagura's Verity

This 5-star catalyst is the obvious choice for Yae Miko. Lore-wise, it's her official weapon. Past that fact, though, its boost to critical hit damage and its refinement effect allow Yae and her teammates to absolutely melt enemies down -- especially when accounting for the crit rate increases she gains through ascension.

With Kagura's Verity, using an elemental skill increases elemental skill damage for 16 seconds, stacking up to three times. When that threshold is reached, all elemental damage is buffed. Since this kitsune is constantly throwing out her elemental skill and triggering elemental reactions, it's easy for her to make the most of this weapon's benefits. The outcome is huge waves of elemental damage and laughably easy fights.
