The latest Genshin Impact Livestream revealed details of version 2.5, due to be released on February 16. There are also three brand-new events, one involving exploration and another that will let you create custom domains. Finally, you'll also be able to tend Diluc's bar. These are accompanied by two new story quests and the return of the Hyakunin Kiki and Overflowing Mastery events. Here's what you can expect.

It wouldn't be a Genshin Livestream without free Primogems and the codes given out today are as follows:

VTPU3CQWYCSD - 100 Primogems, 10 Mystic Enchantment Ore

AB7VJC9EGDAZ - 100 Primogems, 5 Heros Wit

WT7D3CQEHVBM - 100 Primogems, 50 000 Mora

There is also a trailer for version 2.5 which showcases the new enemies found in Enkanomiya, Yae Miko's skills, and teases the new story quests involving Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko as well as some upcoming events.

Yae Miko has already appeared in Genshin Impact but in phase one of Version 2.5 she will become a playable character. The Editor-In-Chief of the Yae publishing house is an Electro-wielding Catalyst user who appears to be getting a five-star weapon in the form of Kagura's Verity, a Catalyst that will be coming to the weapon banner. Her banner will be followed by a double re-run for Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi.

This Inazuma-centered update will also include the second chapter of Raiden Shogun's story quest, Imperatrix Umbrosa. Once players have completed this, Divina Vulpes, chapter one of Yae Miko's story quest, will also be unlockable. These are both said to tie into Inazuma's past and present as well as the Archon quest chain.

Genshin Impact domain creation

Events are clearly being taken in new directions with the announcement of Three Realms Gateway Offering, which will see players explore an area based on Enkanomiya and haunted by an unknown corrosive darkness. There are items to collect, buffs to gain and rewards to be claimed.

The unique events continue with Divine Ingenuity, which appears to use mechanics similar to the Serenitea Pot furnishing system to allow players to create their own domains. Once you've traversed your own creation to collect all the coins, then you can share it with others, adding a new layer of player interactivity. Finally, the Of Drink A-Dreaming event sees you tending Diluc's bar, crafting non-alcoholic drinks in a new mini-game style event.

Those exploring Enkanomiya will also find new enemies in the form of Standard Bearers, Line Breakers, and Defenders of the Shadowy Husk family. This darker tone looks set to continue as the event revealed that The Chasm, a dark mine area, is set to be revealed in version 2.6.
