Zhongli is the five-star geo archon that the Genshin Impact community simply can't get enough of. Despite a rough start, Zhongli was given several updates that made him a team staple. In the game, he is shown to be a bit different than the free-spirited Venti who players first get to encounter in Mondstadt. As the archon over Liyue, Zhongli put importance on making contracts.
Liyue is a prosperous nation thanks to this and despite the fact that Zhongli has now retired from his role, he still seems to be getting involved with the various issues happening around the region. That doesn't mean he's too important to be meme fodder though as these hilarious examples show.

It's no secret that gatcha pulls rarely ever go the way you are wanting them to. This is especially true when trying to pull a five-star character like Zhongli.
Those lucky enough to pull him would likely need to spend hundreds of dollars to get every one of his constellations before the banner ends. Almost anything is easier to get than a C6 Zhongli.

Zhongli is one of the easiest characters to meme for several reasons. His catchphrase is "I will have order" which has the fanbase thinking about getting a combo meal.
The jokes about Zhongli's order got even worse when the KFC collab happened, and cosplayers were actually ordering chicken dressed as the geo archon. The only question that remains is how Zhongli would handle a wrong order.
8 All Outta Mora
When players first meet Zhongli, he seems like a refined man who enjoys the nicer things in life. Shortly afterward they end up going shopping with him and learn that he is completely unorganized. Zhongli is literally named after and can create mora, but he left himself broke.
If it wasn't for Childe, Zhongli would have easily got himself into financial trouble.
7 So Much Wine
If you are lucky enough to include Zhongli on your team, then you have probably heard about wine, a lot. Zhongli seems to always be remising about his days drinking and his old friends. In all honesty, it is a bit sad to hear him talk about his old friends who he can no longer see.
It must get a bit tiring for the Traveler though who always has to listen to the problems of their teammates.
6 Zhongli Is Tired Of Your Memes
With how serious Zhongli tends to be, it wouldn't be surprising to learn that he isn't happy with the flurry of broke memes. He is often poked fun at by players along with Mona since both characters are portrayed as always being broke.
It's not like Zhongli doesn't have a place to stay though. It's likely that Zhongli would be calling for order if he ever got to use the internet.
5 Zhongli Will Have Order
Speaking of order, it is true that characters and weapons literally rain down from the sky when a player does a gatcha pull. When you really think about it this is similar to the way that Zhongli uses his burst in battle and is actually a pretty interesting way to think about his pull.
Maybe it's even Zhongli himself who is causing weapons to rain down from the sky.
4 Zhongli Is A Lie
There is a lot that can be said regarding the underpowered Zhongli players first got to experience during the character's first banner. It's easy to see how a Lawachurl seems to be a much tougher opponent than the geo archon himself, who could at the time barely hold his own in battle.
As the image above shows, there is a lot of proof that the Lawachurl should be the true geo archon.
3 Zhongli's Pet
Azhdaha isn't exactly the type of pet you would want to run into while you're walking your dog. Zhongli at one point used to take him around everywhere until Azdaha ended up getting a bit out of hand. It's almost as if Zhongli never expected his pet to do anything wrong.
Now players are left to defeat Azdaha in a boss battle, where he is very obviously trying to hurt them.
2 Ancient Liyue Storytelling
Zhongli is a huge part of Liyue history, and the storytellers often talk about his grand acts. What they don't know is just how broke the geo archon has become. Asking for mora is a much more likely story for Zhongli as he is tired of watching over Liyue and not getting any rest.
Sadly, the people of Liyue would probably never accept that their once great archon is completely broke.
1 Eternal Rivals
Albedo wasn't the most popular banner and that may be because of everyone spending their primogems on trying to pull Zhongli. This is despite the fact that both characters use geo and Albedo is a great choice for players who need a good support character to add to their team.
There just wasn't as much hype around Albedo and even now he is much less popular than Zhongli
