Get Schwifty With Adult Swim At SDCC 2019

As if San Diego Comic Con 2019 is not already an exciting affair, Rick and Morty fans will have even more reason to look forward to the event as Adult Swim on the Green looks to make its presence known to all. Fans will have the opportunity to test out Rick and Morty’s Rickflector that claims to “trans-portal your melted minds directly into the animated world of Adult Swim’s Emmy-winning animated series.”

The device is perfectly, probably, maybe safe to use. Perhaps. There will also be panels to meet the creators and producers from both Rick and Morty and Robot Chicken, which is sure to be a big hit with everyone involved.

The Rickmobile will also be present in the form of a shop, selling all sorts of Rick and Morty merchandise. An Adult Swim Gift Shop will also offer a variety of items for the other shows, but fans should be aware that a Comic Con Badge is required to make any purchases on the Thursday from 4-10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 12 noon-10 p.m.

As for the rest of the great Rick and Morty items up for grabs, here is the current complete list available:

  • Funko Pop collectors will have the opportunity to snag two new figures from the Rock and Morty universe, but their identities are still a secret. All we know from the official Funko website is that the characters will be from the upcoming Season 4, and this is likely why there are no names available yet. No one likes spoilers!
  • The same characters will also be reassured at the FYE Horton Plaza pop-up booth and in FYE stores on an exclusive Ricky and Morty t-shirt.
  • Two exclusive Pocket Mortys Plush 10” toys will also be available. Fans can take their pick of Underwear Jerry or Doofus Rick of Dimension J19 Zeta 7 over at the Symbiote booth 2646, but quantities are already described as limited.
  • Cryptozoic Entertainment will be offering a limited-edition Rick and Morty trading cards, made of metal and appearing more like business cards. There will only be 100 packs sold at booth #115, so expect a rush with lots of parkouring around to grab one.
  • Two types of Mr. Meeseeks will be available, one as a 5-inch floppy puppet that collapses when a button is pressed at the base, and a turn-crank Jack-in-the-box in packaging that should look exactly like the Meeseeks box from the show.

As season four inches closer to release, we can be sure to see more of this fantastic type of promotional material and collector’s items in the near future. Best of luck to everyone attending the SDCC this year, may they acquire all of the limited collectibles they can!
