Ubisoft released the new Ghost Recon Breakpoint update called Teammates Experience, and you can find out how it changes the game thanks to the new free play days starting on May 27.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is one of those games that received a problematic launch, to say the least. Thankfully, Ubisoft rarely abandons its projects, so the work and improvements continue ever since. After nearly two years, Breakpoint is a very strong package with plenty of content and heavy discounts right away. Moreover, soon enough you can try the full version of the game alongside the brand new major Teammates update, which was released just on May 25.

Ubisoft has announced Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be available to play for free this weekend, starting at 8 AM PT Thursday, May 27. You can enjoy the full version of the game until 10 AM PT Monday, May 31. Naturally, you can play the title solo or in co-op with your friends during the trial event. All your progress will carry over to the full game on the same platform if you wish to obtain one for your collection.

The free event will be available throughout PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC (plus Stadia). It looks like this time Xbox players were left out in the cold for no particular reason. The players on PS5 and PS4 will require an active PS Plus subscription to join the free play days weekend.

Back in February, Ubisoft said Breakpoint will continue receiving updates and new content regularly throughout 2021. Later, the company revealed the complete roadmap for the project, including two major updates. The first one, Teammate Experience, is already available at no extra charge for the players on any platform.

The improvement brings AI Teammates Progression as well as Teammates Challenges in the game. By doing them, you can unlock new abilities, rare items, and equipment. There are now 14 total upgrades for your squad to match your own playstyle.

The second title update for the game will be released later in Fall 2021 and will kick off a brand new Operation. As Ubisoft said, it will be "one of the biggest operations in Breakpoint so far," yet no further details were provided by now.
