After a short period of exclusivity on the Nintendo Switch, Ghosts 'N Goblins Resurrection will be heading to PC, PS4, and Xbox One "soon." Capcom made the announcement on Twitter with an accolades trailer for the recently released version that sings its praises and shows off some gameplay. Arthur then opens a chest that reveals the three extra platforms, easing the nerves of fans that haven't yet grabbed Nintendo's console.

There doesn't seem to be any extra content coming with this version, so those that opted for the Switch release won't need to worry. Capcom may still announce some extra features, but I don't see much else to be added here. We don't even know exactly when the game is coming out, but I have a feeling it will be a three-month window. We can likely expect this in May.

I haven't yet played this long-awaited sequel, but the reception to it has been very positive. Fans were initially put off by the art style, but it really does work when playing the game. It feels almost handcrafted and is reminiscent of a stage featured in Shadows of the Damned. It's a creative take on the classic Ghosts 'N Goblins style.

Thankfully, this is making the rounds to more platforms. The Switch is immensely popular, but not everyone has a need for it in their lives. Getting Ghosts 'N Goblins Resurrection out to as many people as possible is only a good thing and may help ensure that another sequel happens years down the line.
