Goat Simulator 3 has been announced at 2022's Summer Game Fest.

Summer Game Fest is currently ongoing and one of the bigger surprises of the night was Goat Simulator 3, which is apparently skipping the second game and going straight for the third. Even more surprising is that it's going to be exclusive to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series,

The trailer started in a very tongue-in-cheek fashion by replicating the opening shots of Dead Island 2, mocking the fact that we haven't heard from it in so long. In fact, it's such an accurate recreation of that trailer, that you would be forgiven for thinking that the game was being re-announced after so long. As it continues though, it becomes clear that goats are the threat, not zombies.

The press release for Goat Simulator 3 reads, "This fall, Pilgor the goat is making her grand return, inviting all aspiring hooved arsonists to cause more chaos than ever before. Players will be able to join up with a herd of their own in four-person multiplayer, roaming the beautiful new sandbox island of San Angora together - then destroying it."

It continues, "Goat Simulator 3 has everything Goat Sim fans could possibly want and more: classic headbutting gameplay, mini-games and quests to complete, and more ways to traverse the world than you’d ever truly expect from a goat (wallrunning, driving - you name it!)."

Arguably the biggest reveal for Goat Simulator 3 is that it'll feature online multiplayer for up to four players. The press release reads "But truly, what is all this exciting newness without friends to explore it with? In Goat Simulator 3, you can gather as a herd of up to 4 friends to be the goats of your dreams, together. Yes, Goat Simulator 3 has online multiplayer!"
