The tyranny of the goose has only just begun, as the developers of Untitled Goose Game have discussed their desire to bring the game to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the future, with a potential smartphone edition being considered for the future.

Untitled Goose Game was released during one of the busiest months in the 2019 gaming calendar, as it had to compete with the likes of Borderlands 3, Code Vein, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition, Gears 5, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, and The Surge 2. The competition is meaningless in the face of the "Honk" button, as Untitled Goose Game has received a lot of buzz on social media, both for its hilarious gameplay and for a wave of memes showing the goose invading other games.

Untitled Goose Game is currently available on Mac, PC, and Nintendo Switch, but the developers want it to be available on as many systems as possible. The developers were interviewed by ABC News in Australia and they expressed a desire to bring Untitled Goose Game to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the future, although concrete plans to port the game have yet to be made. Panic Inc. founder, Cabel Sasser, also discussed the possibility of bringing the game to smartphones, though there might be issues adapting the control scheme for a touchscreen.

Untitled Goose Game is a game that has low hardware specifications and it has been making the rounds on social media, so the chances of it appearing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are pretty good. The smartphone port might be a hard sell in terms of adapting the game to that format, but the mobile gaming market is so big that the developers would be foolish not to make the attempt. Untitled Goose Game managed to top the Nintendo eShop sales chart, beating out The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, which goes to show how big the potential market is for the game on other systems.
