There are no limits to what people will mod into Grand Theft Auto V, as even Pokémon have now been dragged into the troubled world of Los Santos.

Grand Theft Auto V is still going strong six years on from its initial release. There are a few things players have to thank for that. Number one is the tireless work by the game's developer, Rockstar. Some developers might have called it a day in terms of updates and changes to the game by now, but not Rockstar.

Speaking of which, the latest update to GTA V allows players to become animals and if they're lucky, even Bigfoot. However, PC players have already been turning into animals. Fictional ones, that is. The other main reason GTA V remains so popular is due to the hard work of modders, adding elements to the game that Rockstar doesn't.

The fictional creatures we are referring to are Pokémon. A new mod allows GTA V players to become Bulbasaur, Charizard, and other Pokémon from the franchise. However, as you can see from the compilation of Pokémon/GTA V crossover clips below, this mod might not have been such a great idea. Don't get us wrong, visually it looks pretty cool and also a tad amusing, but did anyone actually ask for this?

The first thing we see, aside from the three original starter Pokémon standing on a street corner like some sort of gang, is Squirtle staring down the barrel of a rifle taking out police officers. It's not a good look, and it's one we're surprised Nintendo is okay with if it has seen players using its creations in this way. Nintendo is normally fast and loose with its lawsuits, so we're assuming the Pokémon mod has flown under its radar so far.

Plus, what about kids playing GTA? Yes, its rating is supposed to prevent that from happening, but those deemed too young to play the game still do on occasion. Should they see Pokémon have joined that world, it might make them even more likely to want to play the game. Plus, if that should happen and they use the Pokémon mod, we dread to think what the sight of a Charmander being gunned down by gang members would do to a child.
