The rather interesting genre-bending first-person game Graven, which I took a look at earlier this year, has likely flown under most people's radars in 2020. A lot of things have happened this past year that are far more pressing than any video game. That certainly sucks for 3D Realms, c0-publisher of the game along with 1C Entertainment, but that doesn't mean you need to continue ignoring it. Just in time for The Game Awards tomorrow, a new demo is available on Steam for Graven that lets you sample its opening hour.

It should be noted that this is a limited-time demo, so it will only be around until December 13, 2020. Thankfully, it's not massive in size (*cough* Call of Duty *cough*), requiring only a little less than 2 GB of storage. You should be able to download it in roughly 10 minutes and can get straight into kicking zombie heads around in no time. If you would rather stream the demo, it will be playable as a part of GeForce Now this weekend.

As for what this demo has, there are actually some surprises from the preview I watched earlier this year. There are two new enemy types, extra quests, and even a blacksmith to upgrade your weapons. The demo doesn't have any multiplayer support, sadly, but that will be a part of the final product when it launches early next year.

Console players are currently left out in the cold, but Graven will be making its way to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch when it does release. There's even four-player split-screen on Switch, which is sure to run just wonderfully...
