Season X's time travel theme could well bring back a litany of named locations to Fortnite Island, including Tomato Town and Greasy Grove.

If you were to tell someone new to Fortnite that we have been repeatedly landing on the same map and doing the same thing over and over for two years, they might think you're mad. Although that is sort of what the premise of the game is, it is really so much more than that. Compare the original Fortnite map to the one we compete on today, and it would be almost unrecognizable.

There was once a time when parts of the island weren't covered in snow and sand, it didn't have a volcano on it, and everyone's beloved Tilted Towers had not been wiped off the face of the Earth. The map is constantly changing, and that is one of the many things that keeps players interested and going back for more.

It seems as if Season X is going to bring with it more changes than any other season before it. One of this season's themes is time travel. That has already been demonstrated by the return of Dusty Depot, which was previously turned into Dusty Divot by a meteor strike. A little data mining courtesy of HYPEX has revealed that more named locations from Fortnite's past will likely be making a come back this season.

New challenge was added in season 10 called "Quest_BR_SprayVehicles_DifferentLocation" it's a placeholder i think, and in it it has all the POIs where you need to spray, GUESS WHAT, me & @xkleinmikex found these!!! (Also flush factory & tomato town) pic.twitter.com/jiP8vPO9j3

The data mining unearthed a battle pass challenge that will be rolled out later this season, in which players will be tasked with spraying cars and trucks at points of interest. In the code for that challenge, no fewer than six places from Fortnite's past are mentioned by name. Tomato Town, Greasy Grove, Anarchy Acres, Flush Factory, Risky Reels, and Moisty Mire.

Right now, it's unclear why these places are mentioned by name in the code for that specific challenge. It tasks players with spraying vehicles anywhere, not just in those six places. Chances are we will be losing some locations when these places from the past return too. There isn't room on the map for all of them, and many of the places from the past and present will overlap if they exist at the same time.
