10 Ellegaard - Minecraft: Story Mode

Grey Griffin voices Ellegaard the Redstone Engineer in Minecraft: Story Mode. For a literal block-headed character, Ellegaard is very opinionated and thinks of herself as a super-genius. Griffin captures these nuances in her character, especially during scenes where Ellegaard and Magnus are bickering.

The final time they bicker, Ellegaard offers Jessie her armor. If she accepts it, Ellegaard will die in the Wither Storm, giving you the opportunity to experience one of many iconic Grey DeLisle-Griffin death scenes.

9 Aya - Green Lantern Animated Series

Aya in the Green Lantern animated series

In the brief Green Lantern animated series, Grey Griffin voices Aya, a sentient AI that eventually gives herself a body. This is one of Griffin's best robotic voices, due to the fact that she can portray emotion and human curiosity through Aya while retaining her integrity as an AI.

As one of the most intelligent characters Griffin has portrayed, much of the series' charm is owed to Griffin's performance as her. As a professional voice actress, Griffin manages to avoid an overtly robotic sound and give the character the depth that was written for her.

8 Natla - Tomb Raider

As the antagonist of the original Tomb Raider, Natla is iconic as a classic video game villain. Though it is unclear who exactly voiced Natla in the original game, Grey Griffin takes up the villainous role for Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Tomb Raider: Underworld.

Changing the character's voice from her original Texan twang, Griffin's portrayal leans into a more sophisticated-sounding dialect. For an ancient Atlantean masquerading as a wealthy businesswoman, Griffin captures Natla's tone perfectly.

7 Sam Manson - Danny Phantom

Samantha "Sam" Manson in Danny Phantom

One of the major players in Danny Phantom, Grey Griffin portrays the goth teen Samantha Manson. Though Sam has a characteristic attitude of goth teens, Griffin's performance manages to keep the character lively. Marching to the beat of her own drum, Sam is a sassy, rebellious character that can occasionally become explosive.

Griffin emphasizes this dynamic between Sam, Danny, and the other characters through her fast diction and wit. Due to being a part of the childhoods of many growing up in the early 2000s, Sam is widely accepted as one of the best characters Griffin has voiced for Nickelodeon.

6 Mandy - The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy

Contrasting her villainous approach as Natla, Griffin channels a lower register for Mandy in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. A being of pure spite, Mandy is outwardly harsh and intimidating, making her the de-facto leader of the trio consisting of her, Billy, and Grim.

Despite being a small child, Griffin's voice for her is more reminiscent of a snappy teenager. This choice suits the character's sharp sides perfectly, showing just how cruel she can be.

5 Catwoman - Batman: Arkham series

Leaning into a more sultry tone, Griffin portrays the iconic DC villain Catwoman for the Batman: Arkham series. Able to deliver one-liners with sass and charm, Catwoman is a confident and masterful thief who already had a reputation for being a beloved character.

Griffin's take on the role does the character justice, especially when playing off of her fellow castmates including Kevin Conroy as Batman. Griffin reprises the role for Injustice: Gods Among Us, and Injustice 2, as well as the 2018 animated film Batman Ninja.

4 Jeanne - Bayonetta

Grey Griffin puts on a British accent for the role of Jeanne, the longtime friend and rival of Bayonetta. The character is first introduced as a villain, allowing Griffin to tap into sharp inflections and sassy, tauntingly sinister tones.

Once she and Bayonetta become friends again by the end of the game, Jeanne herself becomes a playable character. She keeps her gritty attitude toward the angels as she fights them, using a variety of fun curse words to demean her opponents. If you've ever wanted to hear Griffin swear her head off, meet Jeanne.

3 Daphne Blake - Scooby-Doo

Since 2001, Griffin has provided the voice of Daphne Blake from Scooby-Doo, one of the most iconic cartoon characters of all time. Though she does not play Daphne in the live-action films of the early 2000s, Griffin's voice is still recognizable in all the 2D Scooby-Doo films starting from Scooby-Doo and The Cyber Chase.

Griffin's portrayal of Daphne is sassy and extroverted, as Daphne often takes on the role of the gang leader (no matter how much Fred thinks otherwise).

2 Vicky - The Fairly Odd-Parents

Vicky as she appears in The Fairly OddParents

With as much deception as Catwoman and even more ferocity than Sam Manson, Grey Griffin plays the nightmare babysitter Vicky from The Fairly OddParents. For this role, Griffin switches between levels when Vicky is being deceptively sweet towards Timmy Turner's parents, and then being unhinged and sadistic once they leave.

Vicky's antagonism towards Timmy is met with the same level of energy he has, allowing Griffin to often steal the scenes she's in.

1 Princess Azula - Avatar: The Last Airbender

Princess Azula as she appears in Avatar: The Last Airbender

Arguably her most well-known role, Griffin is the voice of the Fire Lord Azula in Avatar: The Last Airbender. The character's intensity, obsession with conquest, and descent into madness are all masterfully portrayed through Griffin's voice.

In addition to being one of the most powerful characters Griffin has voiced, she may also be the most complex. Azula's writing as a flawed prodigy makes her a fan favorite on the show, and Griffin's portrayal acts as a reference point for fans to learn about her character-filled career.
