He also took the opportunity to mention the Grounded TV series which was announced earlier this month. Lastly, he mentioned that update 0.14 was the last one coming to the public flight test, and it will include a secret feature called The Home Stretch, which will build up to the 1.0 release of the game, scheduled for September 27.

As for the Grounded TV series, the adaptation will be written by Star Wars: Clone Wars' Brent Friedman. He will reportedly be working along with Brien Goodrich, who previously worked on the Halo games. The project is the result of Obsidian and Xbox partnering with Waterproof Studios/SC Productions, Kinetic Media, and Bardel Entertainment.

Much like the game, the plot will revolve around four school friends getting shrunken down to two inches before their first year of high school. The shrinking technology is part of "a vast corporate conspiracy threatening their entire town," but before they can deal with that, the four of them must survive a world that's now much too big for them.
