The GTA 5 trailer shown at the PlayStation Showcase is being ratio'd, with gamers complaining that it looks no different to the original release.

One of the low points of last night's PlayStation Showcase was undoubtedly when GTA 5 showed up. Not only is it something that we've seen a ton of over the past eight years, but the "expanded and enhanced" edition doesn't look much different from the original release and certainly doesn't warrant another release. Not only that but it's also suffered a five-month delay.

The trailer itself showcases a version of GTA 5 that looks remarkably similar to the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game from several years ago, with the only big change being the "seamless character-switching". Beyond that, gamers are saying that they can't tell any difference and don't see why it has been delayed by several months when it doesn't seem like a worthy upgrade.

As of the time of writing, the GTA 5 Expanded and Enhanced trailer shown at the PlayStation Showcase sits at 14,000 likes and 23,000 dislikes, putting it in a similar position to the Saints Row reveal trailer from earlier in the month. Although the version of the trailer that was posted on PlayStation's channel has the most dislikes, pretty much every upload of the trailer has a massive amount of dislikes compared to the likes.

The negative response isn't just being shown through trailer dislikes either. One popular comment says, "You gonna be milking this game until 2030 huh? That's the only reason you won't release GTA6. You could have at least remade Vice City or San Andreas by now to hold us over a few more years...but nope here we are with nothing but stupid DLC and GTA5 Enhanced Version 100".

Reddit is similarly annoyed, with several posts on the GTA 5 subreddit expressing some of the key things wrong with the trailer. Some key points include that the only big change is yellow licence plates, the fact that mirrors still don't have reflections, and that the PC version has had seamless switching for some time.
