A rumor started on Reddit has got gamers hopeful that Rockstar is about to drop some news about Grand Theft Auto VI or maybe even a second Bully game.

Rockstar is renowned for a couple of major titles, mainly Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption. While it develops other games, obviously, those are the two that it takes the most care and attention over. It shows, too. We may be made to wait years and years for the next installments of those games, but when they do eventually arrive, they are always worth it.

Since RDR2 was released towards the tail end of 2018, it's highly unlikely that we'll be getting anything big from Rockstar any time soon. However, a recent post on Reddit, highlighted by Dexerto, has got gamers thinking otherwise. The post claims that an E3 Rockstar announcement will "blindside" fans.

The Redditor claims to be an employee of Take-Two, Rockstar's parent company. As you can see below, they wrote that Rockstar has asked Take-Two to create a landing page for an unannounced game. Despite having no proof that the Redditor is who they claim to be, this has naturally got the rumor mill turning. Some have speculated that we're about to get a GTA VI announcement, while others think it could even relate to Bully 2.

If there is going to be an announcement of some sort, we would lean towards it being of the GTA variety. The chances of another Bully game are slim. The first and only installment was released on the PS2 all the way back in 2006. Since then, it has developed something of a cult following with its fans clamoring for another chapter. We would love that to be the case, but it feels like a long shot.

The other possibility, again if true at all, is that RDR2 is coming to PC. It is currently only available on PS4 and Xbox One. However, that hardly seems like a groundbreaking announcement that would blindside us. The biggest plothole in all of this is that Rockstar has never appeared at E3 in the past. If it has chosen to break that tradition for the first time, you would expect it to be for something pretty big.
