Juan "El Rubio" Strickler is the latest antagonist to join the world of Grand Theft Auto. He's the main baddie in The Cayo Perico Heist and considered to be "the world's most notorious narcotrafficker." However, he might also have ties to a friendly German family from Red Dead Redemption 2, as their family portrait can be found proudly on display in his mansion.

The family in question includes a man by the name of Andreas. He's a minor character in the series, but one that you'll save from outlaws during your time as Arthur Morgan. You'll encounter him and his family – consisting of an unnamed son, daughter, and wife – several other times, but nothing more is explained about the dapper old man.

Oddly enough, one GTA Online player found an old black and white photo of Andreas' family in Strickler's mansion. It's definitely Andreas – he's wearing the same suit and sporting the same gorgeous goatee – and the two kids and wife look identical to the ones seen in Red Dead Redemption 2. Another player pointed out that Strickler claims his "opa" was of German descent, so it's entirely possible he's part of their extended family.

Or, this could just be another fun Rockstar easter egg.

The Cayo Perico Heist is now live in Grand Theft Auto Online, so you can go check out the mansion and see the portrait for yourself.
