A Twitch viewer just donated $40,000 to get a streamer unbanned from the GTA Online RP server, NoPixel.

Although GTA Online remains one of the most popular online services out there, roleplaying servers are slowly becoming more and more popular amongst Twitch streamers. There are several big RP servers out there, but one of the most popular is NoPixel, an exclusive server that players have to fill out an application to join. The server is pretty well-known for how many players its banned, including banning big players like xQc.

One such player is Twitch streamer Ming, who was banned from the server back in 2019 for leaving a criminal in a cell with a gun. Ming has tried to get himself unbanned since then, but to no avail. That may be about to change though, as one of Ming's fans just donated $40,000 to get him back on the server.

NoPixel's owner, koil, recently hosted a charity stream for Kidney Health Australia and implied that he'd unban Ming if he received $100,000 in donations. After this, koil received two donations of $20,000 from Incivik, the founder of Saudi Arabian esports organisation Sandrock Gaming.

In a clip from the charity stream, koil can be seen playing GTA Online. He gets sent the first $20,000 and says, "20 grand? Dude, I don't know if I've actually seen that before from a donor, except for like Mr Beast's shit. Did he say anything in the donor bit? Yeah he said, 'unban Ming'."

After seeing that message, koil can be heard laughing before being sent the next $20,000. After seeing the $40,000 total, koil says, "Oh my god dude. Holy fucking shit. You are actually insane. Well, about that 'getting to 50k part', looks like it wasn't too hard".

Following the stream, Ming tweeted, "Coming home" and later, "All day just non-stop positive messages. Much love to everyone I got the chance to run into today, looking forward to the future."
