GTA players have discovered a new glitch that puts CJ's lifeless eyes a bit too close to the camera.

It's fair to say that the GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition has had a pretty rough launch. Although long-term players have been happy to jump back into the classic trilogy, the remastering effort has brought in a ton of new problems, such as spelling errors throughout the environment, character models going haywire, and rain so bad that you can barely see through it.

Although most of the glitches in the trilogy have caused uproar online, there are a few that have managed to make players smile. One such glitch was discovered and went viral on social media thanks to Twitter user glassbottommeg. They shared a video of the glitch in action, saying "I've changed my mind, the GTA remasters are perfect. (this is looking backwards while in first person, on the quadbike)".

The glitch can be seen when using an ATV. If the player goes into a first-person view and looks backwards, you'll get CJ's face filling up the whole screen and get to watch as his soulless eyes do nothing but stare into the void. San Andreas was a time before characters would blink outside of cutscenes, and it seems to have been carried over here.

What makes the glitch even funnier is that the only time you're likely to look behind you on an ATV is during a high-speed chase. In those tension-filled situations, it's a bit of a shock to the system to have CJ's whole face fill up the screen and barely react to the bullets and gunfire happening behind him. It's like something out of a Source FM short.

Since the glitch went viral, gamers have started putting melancholy music over the top of the footage and watching as CJ peacefully drives around, blissfully unaware of the explosions and gunfire behind him. At the very least, it's a pretty harmless glitch and arguably one of the only ones that players have reacted positively to since the trilogy's launch.
