Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launched earlier this week, hitting players with a heavy dose of nostalgia. Well, technically three heavy does since the collection includes better-looking versions of GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas. There are a few things that might take you out of the moment while playing the remastered games though, such as incomplete soundtracks.

Rockstar revealed the tracklist for The Trilogy the day before it launched. While it wasn't entirely true to the original games due to licensing issues, all of the songs that were included in the 2014 versions of the game had made the cut. However, it has since been revealed by VGC that even more songs than Rockstar originally revealed are included in the new games.

While the update from Rockstar leaves GTA 3's remastered soundtrack unchanged, it adds three more songs to San Andreas and 14 to Vice City. Video Killed The Radio Star by The Buggles is still there, as is Quiet Riot's Cum On Feel The Noize. All 17 tracks that were previously believed to have been wiped from the remastered GTA games can be found below.

GTA

Vice City

  • Love Missile F1-11 – Sigue Sigue Sputnik
  • Cum On Feel The Noize – Quiet Riot
  • She Sells Sanctuary – The Cult
  • Working for the Weekend – Loverboy
  • God Blessed Video – Alcatrazz
  • Cars – Gary Numan
  • Poison Arrow – ABC
  • Obsession – Animotion
  • Video Killed the Radio Star – The Buggles
  • Japanese Boy – Aneka
  • Steppin’ Out – Joe Jackson
  • One Thing Leads to Another – The Fixx
  • Get It Girl – 2 Live Crew
  • A Gozar Con Mi Combo – Cachao

San Andreas

  • Hot Pants – I’m Coming, I’m Coming, I’m Coming – Bobby Byrd
  • Rock Me Again And Again – Lyn Collins
  • I Know You Got Soul – Bobby Byrd

What songs are and are not included is currently the least of PC players' worries. The Rockstar Launcher has been down since Thursday afternoon which means those who own The Trilogy on PC have barely been able to play it. A dataminer has discovered unlicensed songs are in The Trilogy's files on PC which could be why the game is currently unplayable.
