Grand Theft Auto 6 is definitely coming. The title's overall success, as well as the popularity of GTA 5 and GTA Online, leave little doubt about the sequels eventual release. The only question that remains is when. As of yet, no news from Rockstar have reached the fans, and the rumors of GTA 6's upcoming realize still remain only that - rumors. Given the very-successful Red Dead Redemption arrived to consoles only last year, there might have to be a bit more waiting before we hear any real news about a GTA sequel.

Nevertheless, fans are curious what twists the new game will include, how it will approach the storyline, and what cars they can expect to see in the future. Today, we tackle the latter. The game's vehicle count rises with each installment, to the point where GTA 5 features 257 vehicles and its online counterparts as many as 630. Will the sixth game continue the trend? It definitely should, so in this list, we go over 5 cars Rockstar needs to include as well as 5 that we think they will fail to. Enjoy!

10 Needs To Be In The Game: 2017 Ford GT

The 2006 Ford GT was an astonishing supercar and one of the most beautiful and unique in its segment. So much so, that it's actually tripled in value. But the thing is, the new version actually managed to one-up it. It's nothing short of a pure road-legal race car, with a 3.5L V6 producing 647 horsepower, providing a 2.9 second 0-60 and a top speed of 216 mph (at least).

The old Ford GT was featured in all GTA releases from San Andreas onwards, dubbed "Bullet" in the game. Rockstar so far made it easily distinguishable with its recognizable body and pointing headlights, and we really hope the game uses the even more beautiful and competent 2017 model in their upcoming game.

9 Probably Won't Make The Game: Rimac Concept_Two

The electric hypercar we're all waiting for. Rimac made headlines when they introduced the amazing Concept_One back in 2013, featuring incredible technology and all-electric motors pushing out 1224 horsepower. The world's fastest hypercar is now awaiting a revamp to hit the market. It's called the Concept_Two, and it features four electric motors generating a baffling 1914 horsepower, and sending the car flying to 60 mph in just 1.85 seconds.

Unfortunately, we doubt it will make GTA 6. Why? Because its electric engines make almost no sound (which is hard to imagine in the game ) and because it's an exclusive Croatian car (from a brand never before featured in GTA) that probably won't be marketed on a large scale. But, who knows, the Rockstar team may yet surprise us.

8 Needs To Be In The Game: 2019 BMW 850i

We really need a good luxury sports sedan in the game, and no better example than the new 8 series comes to mind. The car is a revamp of the legendary 850i E31 that ceased production in 1999, leaving many BMW enthusiasts disappointed.

The new one features a 4.4L V8 that churns out an incredible 530 horsepower, allowing the 2-ton car to shuttle itself to 60 in just 3.5 seconds. We've seen plenty of cars based on BMW models in the latest GTA, including the popular Sentinel (BMW M3 E92), but the 8 series is brand new and we have a hunch it might make it to the final game.

7 Probably Won't Make The Game: Chevrolet Camaro

Including the Camaro in GTA should be a no-brainer, yet the closest we've gotten to seeing a Camaro in GTA was in Gauntlet, which is almost completely based on the Dodge Challenger. Yes, the headlights and some of the front bumper remind of a Camaro, but the rest is pure Challenger.

It's unusual, as the new Camaro trim has been out there for a decade now and it still didn't get its dedicated vehicle in GTA. Perhaps its somewhat close resemblance makes it simpler for the developers to merge its design with another pony car like the Challenger, in this case. This makes us less hopeful of seeing the car in the future game release.

6 Needs To Be In The Game: Bugatti Chiron

This one is practically a given. The brand's popularity since the legendary Veyron broke world speed records for a production car in 2005 assured appearances in many games, including GTA IV and GTA 5, under the name Truffade Adder. However, the Chiron is even more impressive in every aspect.

Featuring a beastly 8.0L W16 engine producing a stampede of 1500 horsepower that powers the car to a virtually undefined top speed, the Chiron might be the fastest car in GTA 6. If Rockstar decides to add it, that is. It's indeed featured in GTA Online under the name Nero, so it's reasonable to expect a newer and more detailed version of the Chiron in the upcoming game.

5 Probably Won't Make The Game: Ariel Atom

Ariel Atom is an engineering marvel. The 507-horsepower V8 lightweight sports car looks like it has no place on the road, yet this thing is fully road legal. With three times less power than the Bugatti Chiron, it can hit the 60 mph mark in the same 2.5 seconds.

The interior seats two, and requires its passengers to wear helmets as on a motorcycle. The Atom has actually been in production since 2000, which unfortunately means that if GTA had any intention of including it in their vehicle line up, they would have already done so.

4 Needs To Be In The Game: 2020 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500

No one can deny the new Mustang GT500 is one of the most beautiful and aggressive-looking cars to come out in the last decade. It's also one an absolute beast, pushing out 760 horsepower.

That being said, Rockstar did include the Mustang among the vehicles in GTA 5, but it's the older version that's longing to be updated. They called it the Dominator, and it's available both in GTA 5 and GTA Online.

3 Probably Won't Make The Game: Porsche Carrera GT

The Carrera GT is a legendary supercar that encounters the same problem as the Arial Atom. Despite being extremely attractive and out there since 2003, Rockstar still hasn't picked up this beauty to be in their game. For those who don't know, the car is a legend in itself, commanding a steep $448,000 price tag when it was new, and doubling that number up until now due to its icon status.

Under the bonnet, it hides a 5,7L V10 producing 603 horsepower, meaning it can hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 208 mph. Despite all this, we doubt the Carrera GT is extremely unlikely to make a sudden appearance in the game's new sequel. Too bad.

2 Needs To Be In The Game: 2019 Dodge Viper

We need to have a Viper in GTA. It was there in every GTA release since GTA III under the name Banshee. And after all this time, it's fair to say that the game wouldn't be complete without it. GTA features it in both a coupe in convertible version, which is something we hope they continue with in the new game as well.

GTA 5 did a good job with making the Viper's colossal 8.4L engine sound more lifelike and intimidating and giving the car a higher top speed. However, it's still arguably too slow in the game, as the real-life version can attain up to 208 mph.

1 Probably Won't Make The Game: Zenvo TS1 GT

The TS1 hails from a lesser-known Danish manufacturer, yet it embodies the hopes and dreams of every supercar enthusiast. Not only does the thing look absolutely menacing, but the drives the part as well. Inside is a 5.9L V8 producing that uses two superchargers to produce a roaring 1163 horsepower.

What it does it shoot the car to 60 mph in about 2.9 seconds. Yes, having the TS1 GT would be great. But what are the chances of Rockstar picking up this low-volume Danish hypercar that only hardcore gearheads have heard of? Slim to none.
