Quick Links
Arborstone is a hub located on the northwestern edge of the Echovald Wilds in Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons. As you gain mastery experience, you will get the opportunity to level up this area, bringing in new vendors and unique NPCs. Arborstone is also where you will take your turtle egg prior to unlocking the Siege Turtle.
We are going to go over everything you need to know about Arborstone. This will include a description of the different mastery levels, what services are present, and how to get there. For now, let’s take a look at how to get to Arborstone for the first time.
Getting To Arborstone
Arborstone will unlock after you complete the Fallout story instance; this is the eighth chapter in the End of Dragons storyline. After completing this portion of the story, you will be placed in Arborstone.
Additionally, you will be rewarded with an Arborstone Portal Scroll. This can be used to teleport to Arborstone an infinite number of times, and it is free to use.
Arborstone Layout
Arborstone is essentially a giant cathedral with two levels. On the first level, you can find the Arborstone Waypoint. To the northeast of this, there is an area where vendors will appear.
Southwest of the waypoint, there is a portal on the floor that will take you to the second level. Here, you can find a gate that will take you directly to Lion’s Arch once you have the first Arborstone mastery unlocked.
Heading northwest from the Arborstone Waypoint, you will find Rota, the Siege Turtle Master. This NPC is important in your quest to get your own Siege Turtle, and she will be present here once you obtain a Turtle Egg. For more information, be sure to check out our guide on how to get a Siege Turtle.
Directly next to Rota, you can enter through a small tunnel that leads to Club Canach. This area will only be accessible once you complete the tenth chapter of the End of Dragons story.
This is a social club filled with patrons and a few mini-games for you to enjoy. Inside, you can also find the Club Canach Waypoint.
Resting Bonus
While in Arborstone, you will receive a resting bonus from the inn. This effect will provide a bonus in experience gained while exploring the rest of the world.
If you remain in Arborstone for at least four hours, you will become ‘Well Rested’, and receive a buff increasing your experience gained by ten percent.
The four-hour requirement applies if you are logged out of Guild Wars 2 as well. This means that if you log out for the day while in Arborstone, you will have the resting bonus the following day when you log back in.
This percentage will increase based on your Arborstone Revitalization mastery level, which we will talk about below.
Arborstone Revitalization Mastery
When you first arrive in Arborstone, you may notice the lack of NPCs. Through the Arborstone Revitalization mastery track, you will be able to upgrade the hub, bringing in new NPCs and interactables.
