The new content, called Another Story, will be available on April 29 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam for Season Pass 1 holders. Along with new story content, Another Story will introduce a new character to the mix named Delilah.Guilty Gear Strive developer Arc System Works announced the new content earlier this week. While the previous DLC for the game has added additional content like characters and stages, Another Story will expand on the game’s story mode. It will offer new chapters that take place at the same time the main storyline is happening. According to the developer, the Story Mode addition will give players a peek at what went down behind-the-scenes from another character’s perspective. Here is an official breakdown of what players can expect:Related: Bugsnax: The Isle of Bigsnax DLC Brings New Snax, Hats, And Your Own Home“While the incident in America triggered by Asuka R. Kreutz’s surrender unfolds…Special Brigade Commander Ramlethal Valentine heads to the outskirts of Illyria after receiving reports of an emergency. There she finds a girl who closely resembles “Bed-man”, who once worked with the Universal Will against mankind.”

This girl is the young Delilah. Arc System describes the her as having “lived within a dream since her birth due to a unique condition caused by her brain’s inability to withstand her exceptional intellect and abilities”. In fact, the girl has only one motive pushing her forward; revenge for her brother’s life.

Guilty Gear Strive is the seventh installment in the Guilty Gear series. The fighting game was released last summer to positive reviews and decent sales. In fact, it shipped out over 300,000 units in its first three days and passed 500,000 in sales in a month. It also debuted at the top of the Steam chart, with continuous updates and DLC keeping the game relevant and fun.
