Famous food show celebrity Guy Fieri is back on Twitter sharing a video game version of himself in the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is all the rage right now. As such, Guy Fieri, host of Food Network shows like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy's Grocery Games, and Guy's Ranch Kitchen,  sent out a tweet that shows a virtual rendition of his televised feasting persona in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The tweet featuring Guy Fieri as an in-game villager can be seen below.

It is unclear whether the image shown above is edited or if it was a screenshot taken in-game with edited text over the image. The "Fieri" in "Fieri Crossing" is fairly identical to in style to the text of "Animal" in "Animal Crossing." Further, the clothing style sported by the villager looks very similar to that of Guy Fieri, with a flamed shirt, shorts, sunglasses, and blonde spiked hair.

The image is pretty convincing. Combined with a wholesome smile, the villager identically evokes the Guy Fieri image we've all come to know and love.

Guy Fieri captions his tweet by joking that his Animal Crossing avatar has stopped by Flavortown to eat at a restaurant run by Tom Nook. However, it is worth noting that his Twitter profile claims he is the "Mayor of Flavortown," so the cheap food he mentions might be due to his avatar's high status.

All told, this tweet is a comedic reprieve during the current crisis. Further, given that Animal Crossing: New Horizons continues to hold its popularity nearly a month after release, the tweet is still very timely and relevant to those passing the time during isolation.

The Monterey Bay Museum in Monterey, California also used New Horizons as a vehicle for consumer views. Representatives from the museum conducted a virtual tour of the game's museum as a way to help pass the time during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is currently available on Nintendo Switch.
