The Russian government's brutal attack on Ukraine has destroyed the lives of countless people. However, the people of Ukraine have stood strong, fought back, and have even continued living their lives, despite the threat. One such example is GSC Game World, the developer of Stalker, which is currently working on the sequel. As you can imagine, the developer has undergone horrible circumstances, but is still working on pushing the game out, almost as if in defiance of Russia's attack.

However, now the developer is also dealing with hackers from Russia, who aren't happy with its pro-Ukraine comments. A hacker going by the name NF Star on Discord has leaked a few images of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, but claims that they have "tens of gigabytes" more that they can leak if GSC doesn't meet their demands.

As spotted by ReFlectioH on Reddit, their demands were posted on Russian social network, VK, and were as follows (translated):

"1. Change your mind, rethink your attitude towards players from Belarus and Russia, apologize for the unworthy attitude towards ordinary players from these countries.

2. We suggest unbanning the NF Star profile in your official Discord - you banned me for nothing, because of this I had to stop holding back.

3. A separate issue is bringing back the RU-localization. Fans are waiting for it from your official company. Don't spoil the game for people because of politics."

Stalker 2 Reportedly Won't Release Until 2024 At The Earliest

The hacker goes on to pat themselves on the back, saying that they haven't leaked the content yet, and that shows their "friendly attitude". However, if the demands aren't met by March 15, they will release whatever content they have, in an attempt to "let the Stalker die".

"The leak includes places that are quite familiar to you from a different angle, as well as previously unseen and rather interesting concepts," they added. "While we will not give plot spoilers, maybe GSC Game World will hear us and respond correctly - in this case, we will hold the materials until the release of the game."

GSC Game World and the people of Ukraine have been dealing with a hostile invasion by Russian armed forces. They haven't bent down to them and it's unlikely that they will bend for someone throwing a hissy-fit over a video game.
