Hades is one of those games with a million things to do in order to fully "finish" the game. Beyond the regular ending, the true ending, the epilogue, and seeing the credits roll, there is also the upgrading of every weapon and its forms, reaching max friendship with all of the characters, collecting all the keepsakes and companions, and much more.

One of the more rewarding side bits of the game is the Fated List of Minor Prophecies. This list is a bunch of predictions from the Fates that basically acts as a record of achievements. It offers some great rewards, though, so it should not be ignored. Here are some of the best, and how players can get them.

Updated on March 23rd, 2021 by Hodey Johns: This list was written in a way to address the best rewards for the player at the time it is possible to achieve them. This means that there were some "better" rewards in terms of quantity, but they were left off of the list because they weren't achievable until the reward was less useful. These huge rewards have been added to the list as entries 11-15.

15 Primordial Banes/Boons

Do sixty keys to finally finish unlocking all of the mirror advantages sound like just the ticket? Of course! Chaos is holding all of them for you, it just takes some careful eyes to not miss any of the cool details in this game or the fine lines on the boon contracts.

Chaos has a variety of bonuses as well as a variety of penalties. For the observant player who notices this and selects every boon and bane at least once, the reward is thirty keys apiece. Even if all mirror upgrades are unlocked, keys make for great trading fodder at the Wretched Broker.

14 Eternal Rest

At a certain point, Skelly will mention that he is depressed and ready to die once and for all after being killed thousands of times for sport. Those who want to complete every Minor Prophecy are going to have to do something they really don't want to do and kill their friend.

The investment is substantial as you will have to max out the Zagreus aspect on the Stygian Blade before delivering the fatal blow. It all ends up being a joke, as Skelly likes to turn everything into. And hey, players will get six diamonds out of it for being a good sport.

13 Power Without Equal

Gamers will be trying to learn more about the mysterious Persephone to get on her family's good side. Those who get on their best side will find themselves getting an extra one-thousand gems.

It requires getting a legendary boon from each of the gods. Those who are struggling to get this knocked off should switch to the God's Legacy boon in the Mirror of Night for an extra 100% chance to get these rare perks.

12 Is There No Escape?

Hades Confronting Your Father On The Surface

Hades gives out darkness like gold bricks. It'll give you a little bit here and there, but finding it in huge chunks is a rare thing. Completionists will tell you that they can have everything else in the game unlocked, but they still need more Darkness for promotions.

If you want one-thousand darkness, and you should, there is one simple task: Beat the game once. Of course, by the time you can beat the game, you should have a decent amount of darkness saved up, but this amount should top off your favorite Mirror of Night bonuses.

11 Family Reunion

Some will tell you that the real ending to Hades happens when beating the game ten times. It's true that there is a moment when the credits roll after this, but this is hardly the end of the game or even a resolution to the primary predicament.

Hardcore Hades fans that demand the conflict between the gods be resolved will need to host an extravagant soirée and invite all of their distant relatives. After this bash, you'll be given twenty Ambrosia for your efforts.

10 The Useless Trinket

Hades Turning Up The Heat To Sixteen

After accessing the Pact of Punishment by defeating the final boss for the first time, Zagreus will be able to keep attempting to escape the Underworld to earn rewards and higher and higher levels of difficulty.

Aside from the regular bounties, however, Zagreus can earn three rewards from his friend Skelly, at eight Heat, 16 Heat, and 32 Heat. After earning the first one, Zagreus will complete the Minor Prophecy "The Useless Trinket," which rewards five diamonds — a nice chunk of change for something that you're probably going to do anyway.

9 A Simple Job

Looking for more diamonds? There's a Prophecy on this list that can be completed somewhat early and will give a hefty reward. "A Simple Job" requires Zagreus to complete 30 House Contractor upgrades.

This early in the game, four diamonds are a lot, and the player can simply upgrade the 30 cheapest things in the House Contractor's list. Toward the end of the game, four diamonds aren't a ton, but this early on, it's a huge help.

8 Hidden Aspects Quests

Each of the Infernal Arms has a "hidden aspect" that must be unlocked through some series of requirements and dialogue with certain characters. They're fairly easy to unlock toward the end of the game without much trouble.

However, players can use these hidden aspects to earn some great rewards. While most quests that require reaching the surface specify "escaping" or "breaking free" completely (that is, defeating the final boss), the Prophecies that require Zagreus to reach the surface while using each hidden aspect only require that he reach the surface, technically. Players don't need to beat the final boss to complete them.

There's one of these Prophecies for each of the weapons, and they all reward two Ambrosia each.

7 Power Without Equal

As Zagreus makes his way through the Underworld, he may encounter the same Olympian God more than once. If he is granted a certain combination of boons from a God, they may offer him a Legendary Boon. Each of these Legendary Boons has certain prerequisite Boons, with some of them being easier to find than others.

Once Zagreus has found all of the Legendary Boons (minus Huge Catch and Defiance), the Prophecy "Power Without Equal" will be complete. As a reward, Zagreus will receive 1,000 Gemstones, which is quite a few.

6 Chthonic Colleagues

Hades Meeting Thanatos For The First Time

Another Prophecy reward that is invaluable early in the game is the reward for "Chthonic Colleagues." The premise of this one is simple: meet each of the rulers of the Underworld. This includes Hades, Nyx, Charon, Hypnos, Megaera, Thanatos, Alecta, Tisiphone, and Chaos.

The only one that may prove troublesome is Thanatos, who takes a while to appear for some players. However, it's a fairly easy quest that can be completed early on, granting Zagreus 10 Chthonic Keys. Again, this isn't much for late-game players, but it's invaluable early in the game.

5 Distant Relatives

The opposite quest from Chthonic Colleagues is "Distant Relatives," which tasks Zagreus with meeting each of the Olympian Gods, minus Demeter. You'll have to find and meet the following: Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, Ares, Artemis, Dionysus, Hermes, and Aphrodite.

In the same vein as Chthonic Colleagues, this is a very simple quest that will probably be one of the first many players complete. It grants three Nectar, which, again, is a great boon early on in the game.

4 Master of Arms

Hades Infernal Arms Before They Are Unlocked

Shifting back to the big leagues brings us to "Master of Arms," a quest that grants a whopping 10 Titan Blood, which is equivalent to five separate complete runs. In order to earn this great reward, Zagreus must break free from the Underworld with each of the Infernal Arms.

This is pretty straightforward: beat the final boss with each of the weapons. Some of them are easier than others, but this can be done on zero Heat, making it pretty easy as far as this game goes.

3 Divine Pairings

If someone thought the reward for finding all of the Legendary Boons was good, "Divine Pairings" is the real cash quest. Under certain conditions, players can be granted "Duo Boons" by the Olympian Gods — these are essentially joint boons from two different Gods. There is one for each combination of the eight main Olympian Gods (minus Hermes).

They require players to have certain boons already before they unlock, but they aren't too hard to find. After all 28 of these Duo Boons are collected, this Prophecy will be complete, granting players a whopping 15 Ambrosia.

2 Eternal Rest

Hades Zagreus Being Dismissed By Skelly

After reaching a high-enough friendship level with Skelly, he'll ask Zagreus for a favor: kill him for good, finally. In order to do this, Zagreus needs to fully upgrade the Aspect of Zagreus on the Stygian Blade and then slay Skelly with it.

After doing this and completing his favor, the Prophecy "Eternal Rest" will be completed, and the reward is a beautiful six diamonds. Considering the Aspect of Zagreus on the Blade is extremely useful, this quest completion could easily come naturally to most players.

1 Harsh Conditions

Hades Turning The Heat Up To Eleven
Hades Turning The Heat Up To Eleven

This one's tough, but definitely worth it. There are 15 conditions on the Pact of Punishment (16 on Hell Mode). Each of them does something different for a varying level of Heat.

If Zagreus can break free from the Underworld (including defeating the final boss) with each of them, he'll earn the best reward on the list: 15 Titan Blood. At first, one might think that they need to complete the game with all of the conditions applied at once, but that isn't the case. They can be done one at a time. Beautiful!
