If you really try, you could find similarities between Halo and F1 racing. Both involve advanced machines that incorporate bleeding technology to give them an advantage over their competitors. Actually, that seems to be it. So, you may find it surprising when you tune in to tomorrow's Singapore Grand Prix, and notice someone else sitting in Lando Norris' McLaren. No, Lando hasn't been replaced, but his helmet has. It turns out that the driver will be racing in an all new helmet, fashioned after Master Chief's iconic headpiece. It's not just because Lando is a die-hard Halo fan, but rather, part of an announcement that his gaming and lifestyle brand, Quadrant, will be joining the Halo Championship Series Partnership Program.RELATED: Halo Infinite's Post-Launch Troubles Show That The All-In-One Shooter May Be DeadAs part of the Partnership Program, Quadrant cosmetics and items make their way into Halo Infinite by 2023. It will join the likes of FaZe Clan, Optic Gaming, and Cloud 9 in offering its fans themed skins to show their support for the team. However, that's not the only thing that will go on sale. Quadrant will also be selling a 1:2 scale version of Lando's Halo helmet, which seems like a great collectible for fans of the video game series and F1.

While Halo Infinite has been having engine troubles with regard to its multiplayer, Forge, and now cancelled co-op campaign modes, there is another Infinite project still in the works at Certain Affinity, the studio behind the Master Chief Collection. While no official confirmation has been made about what this project is, CEO Max Hoberman says it's something "big and new".

"The biggest thing we’re doing that’s public right now, for more than two years now we’ve been working on Halo Infinite doing something that–they’re very prescriptive about what we can say," said Hoberman. "But we’re doing something unannounced, and we’re doing lead development on that unannounced thing, from conception and design. It’s something big and new for the franchise. But I can’t say any more about it. That’s our single largest project of our three projects currently. We have close to 100 developers working on that."
