Halo fans won't have to wait too much longer to get a first look at a Halo: Infinite, as the game will be featured in the July Xbox 20/20 event.

Halo: Infinite was officially announced at E3 2018 with a short cinematic trailer that showed off an alien wilderness, giant sea creatures, and the smallest glimpse of Master Chief. At E3 2019, a new trailer for the game premiered that served as sort of a prologue for the game by introducing a new character and showing how Master Chief was more-or-less brought back from the dead.

Since then, Halo: Infinite news has been pretty sparse and no further trailers have been released. With only 6 months until the release of the Xbox Series X, players still haven't seen a single frame of gameplay. However, as many predicted, Halo: Infinite will be featured alongside other first-party titles during the next Xbox 20/20 event.

Xbox 20/20 is a brand new livestream series that Xbox is using to reveal and promote upcoming games in lieu of major conventions like E3. The first Xbox 20/20 revealed some exceptional looking new games such as Deep Silver's Chorus, a dark sci-fi adventure, and The Medium, a new horror game from Blair Witch developers Bloober Team.

While it was expected that Halo: Infinite would be shown during the July Xbox 20/20 stream, 343 Industries confirmed it today in their latest Community update.

The July Xbox 20/20 is scheduled to stream does not yet have an exact date.
