A now-deleted Tweet from the official Brazilian Xbox account has claimed that Halo Infinite is launching on November 9.

The Tweet in question was put up and quickly deleted, but not before being noticed and screenshotted across Twitter. It read, "Halo's legendary multiplayer combat returns reinvented and evolving over time with seasonal updates, new modes and maps, and community-focused content. Halo Infinite arrives on November 9".

Although Halo Infinite was a pretty big part of Microsoft's E3 showcase and had its single-player and multiplayer portions detailed, it remained undated by the show's end, only having a vague "Holiday 2021". Fans are hoping that the Tweet being deleted by Xbox Brazil is a sign that they indeed revealed the game's release date too early, but it could just indicate a mistake on its behalf.

It's worth pointing out that Forza Horizon 5 was given a release date of November 9 during the conference, so it's possible that Xbox Brazil has got the release dates mixed up and accidentally said that Halo Infinite is coming on the same day. That would make sense, although the alternative of both Halo and Forza coming out in November would certainly give Microsoft a strong holiday showing.

Since deleting the Tweet, Xbox Brazil hasn't clarified whether or not it was made in mistake, so until Halo Infinite's release date is officially revealed, we won't know whether or not it was a mistake.
