Wands at the ready wizards, for the ancient evil slithering beneath Hogwarts, will emerge during the upcoming Harrowing Halloween Event! Dark Arts Month has been in full swing for Wizards Unite since the first event began on October 8th. The whole month has since been filled with thrills and chills, but as the month winds down, the Calamity's most sinister ranks are just gearing up.
On Wednesday, October 30th through November 1st at 11 am, Slytherin's Basilisk will join exclusive dark figures from the wizarding world. Opportunities to level up and fill out the Registry will be abundant.
Harrowing Details and Rewards
Be sure to stop by Diagon Alley. Residents there have pulled together a complimentary supply bundle to aid the Task Force's efforts in these dark times. The Free Event Bundle will consist of 15 Spell Energy and 5 Level 1 Dark Arts Runestones- must-haves for this event.
As per usual with Wizard Unite events, a certain section of the registry will receive increased spawns. This time, of course, that section is the Dark Arts. Spawn rates will also be boosted for Moaning Myrtle and... Young Ginny Weasley? Perhaps the event is bound to give a more sinister recount of Wizarding history than expected.
A limited-time Special Assignment is also featured. This is really just a concise way of saying complete the entire event before it ends. This earns an exclusive event Badge to display on the Ministry ID. However, the true Special Assignment lies in the event Chamber.
Harrowing Halloween Assignments and Rewards
- Return 10 Dark Arts Traces for 200 XP.
- Use 2 Dark Arts Runestones to take on the Harrowing Halloween Chamber for 200 XP.
- Defeat 3 Dark Witches for 3 Scrolls.
- Defeat 3 Dark Ministry Officials for 2 Spell Books
- Defeat 1 Basilisk for 1 Restricted Section Book and an exclusive Ministry ID Title.
Completing these tasks will gain materials needed to fill out Profession Skill Trees. With the help of a Baruffio's Brain Elixir this set of Assignments is a great way to boost player level too.
Harrowing Halloween Chamber
This limited-time Chamber will host an army of Dark Witches and Dark Ministry Officials (those which held office while Voldemort was in power). Determined Wizards may even encounter Slytherin's Basilisk. All of these Foes will award Dark Arts Registry XP for their defeat.
Dark Arts Runestones are required for entrance into this Chamber. Higher-level Runestones offer better chances of Basilisk encounters, along with awarding bonus Dark Arts Registry XP and more Spell Energy. These bonuses only apply to Chambers level 4 and higher.
Bringing friends along will increase these rewards further- the more friends and the higher their level the better. This also yields a better chance of a Basilisk encounter. To earn the exclusive Ministry ID Title, you will need to be the one to defeat the Basilisk.
A Most Sinister Halloween
This Halloween is turning most sinister for the wizarding world, with threats cropping up from one of the darkest periods in history. Slytherin's most ancient evil slithering up from the depths to terrorize in mass once more is nothing to be taken lightly either. Round up the local Task Force, it will require all wands readied to take on these monstrous challenges.
