Hawkeye is coming to Disney Plus this holiday season, and Marvel appears to really be leaning into the Christmas theme judging by the show's first trailer.

Marvel has a lot of lost time to make up for when it comes to showing us what's next in the MCU. No, not the five years many people lost thanks to the blip. The 15 months we lost in the real world thanks to the pandemic. Its movie slate for the next three years is jam-packed, recently revealing that it will release five movies in one calendar year for the first time in 2024.

The MCU's TV shows are also coming thick and fast. What If? might not have finished yet, but Disney already wants you thinking about what's next. It dropped the very first trailer for Hawkeye today, confirming that the next small screen chapter of phase four will start streaming on November 24, 2021.

That means the show will be streaming all the way through the holiday period, something its creators appeer to have really leaned into. The trailer has snow, about a thousand mentions of Christmas, and even the iconic Christmas song It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year playing in the background. Very Christmassy indeed, but this isn't going to be the Jingle All The Way of Marvel movies. Well, at least we don't think it will be.

Clint Barton has some serious cleaning up to do. During the aforementioned blip, which took Barton's family from him for half a decade, the MCU's Hawkeye made himself a lot of enemies. Some of the enemies he didn't deal with, or perhaps friends and family of the ones he did who were brought back when the snap was reversed, are now out for revenge.

The trailer also gives us a first proper look at Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. Those of you who have kept up with the Marvel's Avengers DLC will be well-acquainted with the character who has a very similar set of skills to Barton. The two will team up and try and get Hawkeye home in time for Christmas starting November 24, exclusively streaming on Disney Plus.
