Like most children’s cartoons, The Fairly OddParents is a show that has its fair share of inappropriate moments. Of course, there’s plenty of jokes to go around and surprisingly, a lot of these instances that I mention in my list focus on Cosmo and his shenanigans. Heck, even Timmy’s parents do a lot of things in the show that you just wouldn’t expect.

Who knows? There might be some of these moments that you’ll recognize and say, “I already knew this! Come on, give me something new!” I’m hoping I can least offer up one new tidbit of information to maybe scar your brain just a bit. It is rather silly to think about just how many adult jokes kids’ cartoons make. However, this isn’t an occurrence limited to just classic cartoons. A lot of shows that are new and currently being broadcast have their fair share of inappropriate moments too.

I wanted to make sure that I discussed not just the inappropriate instances, but rather hilarious ones too. There’s so many jokes made that a lot of us, adults who watched The Fairly OddParents when we were kids, can relate to today. It is always so silly looking back at all the moments and laughing because now, you understand them to their full potential.

With that being said, I hope you’re ready for a chaotic mess of modern-day memes, squid toys, and plenty of jokes about guys’ areas. Believe me. I have plenty of those on here.

22 Mrs. Turner: Blindfolded

via Rebrn.com

So Mr. Turner decides to surprise his lovely wife with an anniversary gift. She’s blindfolded, and he asks her if she’s ready for her present. He then tells her to open her eyes, but she’s still wearing the blindfold. Mrs. Turner then replies with, “It’s a blindfold! Oh, I’ve always wanted one!”

Basically, this is some Fifty Shades of Grey stuff going on right now. I mean, for Mrs. Turner, this sure sounds like it’s a very exciting anniversary present. But at the same time, this is definitely a huge joke in the show, which is rather hilarious, considering there’s a lot of those jokes focused on the parents. I don’t think we want to know what the Turners’ private life is like though.

21 “We’re Bad Parents!”

via Funnyjunk

In one episode, Mr. and Mrs. Turner decide to watch “Dr. Bill” on television. Dr. Bill asks his viewers, “Does your child say ‘I’m busy’ a lot?” As this is all occurring, Timmy just so happens to come in at opportune moments while his parents are watching TV. Dr. Bill then asks his viewers “if your child uses a lot of paper towels, spends too much time in their room and says don’t bother me?”

Timmy once again enters with ironic timing and some paper towels, asking his parents not to bother him. This leads the parents to assume they’re awful, while adults see this as a joke about men when they need alone time and a nice magazine.

20 Mr. Turner’s Dreams

via Amorq

Timmy and his dad are cleaning an attic when Timmy accidentally breaks Mr. Turner’s small “box of dreams.” Timmy apologizes, but his dad tells him not to worry about it since his dreams were shattered years ago. Timmy then asks how long ago that was, with his dad replying, “How old are you?”

This is both hilarious and pretty sad all at once, because it makes Timmy out as the reason why Mr. Turner never fulfilled his dreams. In a way, this could also imply to some parents who feel the same way about kids interrupting their dreams. Although I wonder why Mr. Turner’s box of dreams was so small. I’m betting that they’re all connected to Dinkleberg somehow.

19 Vicky And Chompy

via YouTube (Yepper)

Vicky is locked up and in need of assistance when, lo and behold, Chompy the Goat comes in to save the day. I think. Chompy gives Vicky a sly grin as he trots over to her backside and does something. It’s later learned that he gave her a wedgie, but considering his positioning and Vicky’s shouts, what Chompy did is implied as something very gross.

This is beyond weird to consider because, well, Chompy is a goat. And anything involving human and animal relations is extremely disgusting, so I’m not even sure why this joke was made in the first place. If anything, at least make it with another human, not a goat. To me, that’s a little unsettling.

18 “It’s Hard To Keep Nuts”

via YouTube (imaBOTDFmonster)

Mr. Turner takes the Squirrely Scouts on a camping trip. While Mr. Turner is driving, he tries to eat some nuts, only to immediately spit them back out. He then says, “It’s hard to keep nuts in your mouth when you’re crying.” Now I get it. Anything related to nuts will always be perceived as something immature.

That’s just how it is. Heck, I honestly feel like the creators went with the name of Squirrely Scouts just to see how many nut jokes they could get away with. Also, I have to say that those hats are kind of creepy. They have actual eyelashes. Please don’t tell me that they blink, too. That would be really weird.

17 Mr. Crocker In A Dress

via Fairly Odd Parents Wiki - Fandom

So at one point in the show, Timmy’s teacher, Mr. Crocker, wears a bright red dress. This picture then gets spread on the Internet somehow. When Timmy has the picture up on his computer, Mr. Turner walks in and basically mistakes it as his son watching a strange video. Timmy then has to explain how it’s his teacher, and Mr. Turner then makes a comment related to him looking nice.

To me, this is kind of a weak joke since I feel like the creators could’ve gotten away with just a bit more in regards to what the picture implied. But hey, I guess a guy in a dress is enough to make people think weird things?

16 My Cha-Chas!

via Smosh

In one episode, Cosmo ends up wearing a skirt and is commando. He refers to certain parts of him and it leads to some very interesting commentary, like, “Ouch, my cha-chas!” Everyone, let’s admit. If you heard anybody saying that about this while in the bedroom, I’m pretty sure you’d perish laughing.

Besides, Cosmo is a very adorable and innocent fairy in the first place. It’s almost childlike how he refers to all that. He is definitely a character that must be protected at all costs. I mean, he even sings a song about he goes commando, which is both cute and hilarious all at once. Please protect Cosmo, for he is so innocent.

15 Crock Blocked

via Fairly Odd Parents Wiki - Fandom

So this is the actual name of an episode in The Fairly OddParents. Don’t worry, this episode doesn’t lead to anything too crazy. Timmy wishes his teacher, Mr. Crocker, would disappear, but instead, he becomes invisible. Because of this, Mr. Turner thinks their house is haunted.

As far as I’m aware, nothing ridiculously inappropriate happens in this episode. It’s just the episode title alone that’s an interesting joke at something once again adult. Sheesh, I really shouldn’t be surprised at how many of these jokes are in this show, but there’s so many. At least as adults we can better appreciate all of these innuendos. There’s a lot of them, but you have to admire the creators for being so gutsy.

14 Unsuspecting Van

via Know Your Meme

So this isn’t an unsuspecting van. What are you even talking about? It’s not like this is a dark black van with the words “Unsuspecting Van” on it. What? Okay, but honestly this is very creepy, especially since, of all people, it’s Mr. Crocker driving that van. I don’t think we want to know what kind of things happen in that van.

There’s probably all sorts of weird tools and other mechanisms used to prove that fairies are real. Maybe he has candy? I seriously doubt that, though. Sure, little kids might not think much of this being in the show, but you should probably go ahead and warn all small children of any unsuspecting vans in your neighborhood.

13 “I Thought You Said Plastic Surgery!”

via Pinterest

For some reason, Cosmo ends up giving himself female breasts. What I do find oddly hilarious about all this is the comparison between this “plastic surgery” chest and what real women’s ones in the show look like. For example, let’s think about Wanda’s. Those are some pointy ones right there.

In comparison, Cosmo decided to go with much bigger ones. Does this imply that Cosmo is more into this? Especially when he says, “I’m keeping them?” Cosmo, you look silly enough without those huge things on your chest. Please, consider your back health and don’t do that to yourself. Besides, Wanda is lovely enough as she is. Stop wishing for weird things, Cosmo! Come on!

12 Dinklescouts Issue

via Fairly Odd Parents Wiki - Fandom

In an episode titled “The Dinklescouts”, Dinkelberg refuses to wear his troop leader uniform while taking the scouts to the movies because he’s afraid he’ll get arrested. Of course, this is meant to be a joke making light of awful situations that have been connected to actual scouting troops in America.

It is really weird to think about since it’s directed at such a serious thing that has actually happened. But at the same time, it does bring the subject into the limelight and really makes you think about just how often those kinds of things have happened. At the same time, it can be viewed as a harmless joke, but I beg to differ.

11 Dinkleberg Handshake

via Me.me

While gardening, Mrs. Turner kills almost everything that she’s planted. She then shouts, “Everything I touch dies!” Mr. Turner then gets excited about this, saying, “Oh, Dinkleberg! Aren’t you gonna come over and give my wife a congratulatory hand touch?” Okay, but even for a kids’ show, this is extremely dark.

Like, we get it, Mr. Turner. You hate Dinkleberg. But do you hate him that bad to the point that you want him gone? Honestly, it’s not really surprising. Yet at the same time, wishing death upon someone is not a great thing, no matter how much you hate the person. Don’t be like Timmy’s dad, guys. Just don’t. Even if Dinkleberg is kind of a jerk…

10 Vicky Loses Her Icky

via Fairly Odd Parents Wiki - Fandom

In the episode titled ‘Vicky Loses Her Icky’, Timmy finally wishes for Vicky to be nicer. Honestly, I’m wondering why he didn’t wish for this sooner rather than later, but that’s fine, I guess. Anyway, when Timmy makes this wish, an evil bug crawls out of her… well, her posterior area.

This bug is supposedly the cause of Vicky’s evil behavior, and Timmy has to stop the bug from crawling up other people’s posterior areas and turning them evil. What’s even more hilarious is Cosmo says that all this time, he thought that Vicky had a corn in the cob stuck up there. Um, what? Cosmo, maybe you’re not as innocent as I thought you were.

9 Mr. Turner Twerking

via coubcom

I’ll be honest about how I know next to nothing about the context this occurs in. But there is one episode where, while holding Timmy, Mr. Turner begins twerking. What’s even more strange is that in this picture, Timmy seems to be okay with that. And to even make this more odd, this happened before twerking really skyrocketed in popularity.

I find myself relating to Dinkleberg’s face in this picture. Because I’m just as confused about this. Sure, bottom wiggling might be pretty funny to any child watching, but how would you feel if you were being held by someone who just decided to start twerking? To me, that’s pretty weird and rather uncomfortable to think about.

8 Mrs. Turner Bikini Contest

via Clevver

I don’t think anything could scar a kid more than seeing either of their parents in their underwear. And based on Timmy’s expression in this picture, he really doesn’t want to be in the current situation he’s in. To make matters worse, his dad comes in seconds later, wearing just a speedo.

No child wants to think about their parents in just their underwear, let alone see that for themselves. So it’s no wonder that Timmy looks startled and somewhat confused. Get that poor child out of there before anything worse happens. Although honestly, Timmy’s probably seen enough weird stuff because of wishes he’s made, so I guess this could be nothing new to him?

7 “Are You Picturing My Future Again?”

via Me.me

In one episode of The Fairly OddParents, Timmy walks into the kitchen and notices his mother crying. He looks at her and asks, “What’s wrong, Mom? Are you picturing my future again?” This might seem like such a random question, but it’s rather saddening to think about. Does his mom get that worked up about things?

And “picturing my future again”? Timmy, do you think you have absolutely nothing going for yourself to the point where you have a ridiculously disappointing future? You’re only, what? 9? 10? It doesn’t matter, because you’re still a small child. Besides, if your mom is worried about your future right now, she needs to stop overthinking things and relax.

6 “Except For Learning…”

via Gurl.com

I feel like this meme is further proof that Cosmo is a naive and precious soul that must be protected at all costs. Yet at the same time, this is basically encouraging kids that school is a bad place because learning happens there. Well, yes. That’s the main purpose of school. With Cosmo saying, “Nothing bad ever happens at school, except for learning,” that might be perceived as discouraging kids from wanting to go to school.

After all, that is the majority of what happens at school. Kids, I promise you. School is not that bad. You’ll only shed a few tears when you realize that you don’t fit into the societal mold of what everyone imagines every student to be.

5 “I Thought You Said Feather.”

via Pinterest

I randomly found this meme and laughed for a very, very long time. I know that people have a very different sense of humor compared to me, but for some reason, I thought this was hilarious. Cosmo just looks so clueless, and his right hand is poised in such a sassy manner. Like, “Wanda, I know what I’m doing, so let’s talk about this feather.”

Also, Cosmo is extra adorable in glasses and a suit. It’d also make for an interesting weather forecast to hear Cosmo talk about a singular feather for a few minutes. That’d brighten my day. Although, there are some very interesting things meteorologists in America have done. Go YouTube it. It’s worth your time.

4 “Two Halves Of A Whole Idiot”

via Pinterest

Of course, this is a very memorable quote from The Fairly OddParents. It’s spread around social media a lot in regards to those good old best friend memes, and, at times, memes related to couples. This can be taken as a compliment, but at the same time, it’s basically referring to yourself and the other person you’re addressing as, well, idiots.

I find this to be pretty hilarious because it’s not something you just hear on a daily basis. It’s a random statement, but its randomness is what makes it quirky, cute and pretty dang funny. It also doesn’t help that Cosmo says it so matter-of-factly too. He’s just so nonchalant and casual about a lot of things.

3 “Um, Internet?”

via BuzzFeed

In one episode, Mr. and Mrs. Turner enter Timmy’s room and look at all the various objects he has laying around. His dad asks, “Young man, where did you get all of these nice things?” And Timmy replies with, “Uh, Internet?” Really? This is actually a sound, logical reason. You’d be surprised just how much little kids could get away with if they grabbed a parent’s credit card or accessed something online with saved information on it.

The reason Timmy gives is hilarious, and it’s even more funny because it makes sense. A kid Timmy’s age could easily get away with doing something like this as long as they were very sneaky about it.
