For decades, all types of different video game characters have been entertaining the masses, whether they're a simple block that allows the player to hit a ball back and forth in Pong, or the unmistakable (now former) plumber and Nintendo mascot himself, Super Mario. We may all think of our most beloved video game characters as beings that exist solely within their own gaming universes, but there are some who have lent their creativity to expanding those very characters' horizons, allowing them a little taste of the real world.

20 It's All Peachy
Princess Peach is somebody who just hasn't found the right man yet. She's consistently harassed by the Koopa King himself, Bowser, leaving her little time to date and find her perfect match. Whilst millions think she and Mario would be a brilliant pair, their relationship just isn't something that could ever truly get off the ground. He's always letting her get kidnapped by that "real monster" of an ex described in the profile above! Still, if what she's written up on her Tinder profile is anything to go by, she's extremely hung up on one half of the Super Mario Bros., and has a certain obsession with the hero when he's taken a bite out of a Super Acorn!
Forever finding herself in a predicament, we think Tinder could provide the perfect distraction from what's going on around her when Bowser makes her his prisoner.
19 Show Me Your Bulbasaur
When Pokémon first made its way into the world of video games, players were given the option of three starter Pokémon to choose from. Bulbasaur was one of the three creatures available, but never saw the same sort of popularity when it came time to choose as those he would stand alongside - Charmander and Squirtle. Let's face it: Grass type Pokémon just aren't as cool or as compelling as Fire or Water type Pokémon. The Fully Integrated Security Technotronic Officer, otherwise known as Fisto, is a robotic being known for being talented in all sorts of areas in Fallout: New Vegas. Involved in some extremely curious questing throughout the game, it was only a matter of time before a player thought it would be fun to bring the cheeky little protector into the world of online dating.
With the current real-life rise in robots that can engage in activity, Fisto technically could provide the perfect and next logical step in the industry. Though the game New Vegas was set in the year 2281, the predictions developers made about the future world don't seem to actually be that far away at all! Would YOU buy a Fisto companion? We're not completely sold...
17 He Can Play THE LUTE
So his skin leaves a lot to be desired (is he REALLY only 21?), and he's not the most iconic character you've ever come across in your life, but Mikael - who hails from the Elder Scrolls universe - can play the LUTE! Surely that has to count for something?! Plenty of people looking for love are seeking somebody who's talented when it comes to music, and Mikael has all the ambition a successful musician needs to break it in the industry, right?

Lara Croft is somebody who's never let her personal life in regards to love mix with her business of raiding tombs, so players haven't ever had the chance to see her in a relationship and to explore that dynamic. Instead, the focus has always been on her adventuring and skill, making her one of the most prominent feminist figures in video game history.
Still, one player thought up what it would be like if Lara decided to delve into the world of online dating, and the result is actually hilarious. The profile drawn up above wouldn't look out of place on Tinder, complete with the addition of Lara's star sign and love for yoga including in her biography. Those who swipe right had better be sure they can keep up!
15 Eyes You Could Sink Into
Does Tinder work in space? We guess so! Hailing from the world of StarCraft, Thuras is a protoss zealot who's no stranger to big space battles. When he's not putting his war ambitions to the test however, it would seem the Protoss Empire loyalist is looking for love! Though he's more than willing to embark on some combative expeditions with a potential partner, Thuras also looks to go out of his comfort zones if he finds the right person, even admitting to enjoying "some long walks on the beach." Who'd have thought it?
Thuras's Tinder profile proves that love is blind, with the warrior promising to look past race and species in his latest quest for that special someone. Whether or not he'd be able to deal with the rubbish his companions would put him through if he dated a Terran, however, is another story altogether!
14 Moved On From Mercy?
Pretty much since the day Overwatch debuted, players and fans have been hoping to see a romance blossom between Japanese adventurer-turned-cyborg Genji, featured above, and Swiss first responder Mercy. There have been countless memes and pieces of fan art created to that effect and a very vocal portion of the Overwatch fan base have pretty much accepted the two being in a relationship as canon, despite it never being officially confirmed. This Tinder profile does away with that idea completely.
Genji here has taken to Tinder to find new love, and has found it in a woman called Heather. As far as we're aware, this isn't a character that's ever been introduced in Overwatch lore, but it would appear Genji has a type if that's a medical cap we see on Heather's head! Don't show the Genji/Mercy loyalists this one!
13 He Made You Look Twice
Anybody's who's ever played Skyrim will have come across the Whiterun Guards. They're interesting folk who will do their all to protect their land, and judging by the above profile, are extremely wary of anybody willing to admit they have any affiliation to the Stormcloaks, or any love for Talos.
So long as you're not somebody who's going to end a chicken right in front of a Whiterun Guard in their own home before making a positive name for yourself, we think you stand a shot with this guy. He's clearly years ahead of his actual age, promising that no-strings fun isn't something he's after. If dragon hunting and loyalism to his homeland is something that makes you feel all fuzzy inside, then go ahead and swipe right!

It seems as though that first Tinder profile isn't the only one Princess Peach has ever had! Here we see the character on an older version of the online dating app, with a much shorter description and a little bit of honesty when it comes to her age! With a selfie game that's clearly on point, Peach here isn't afraid to let the world know who she's looking for - someone with coin, and nobody that resembles the cute little mushroom-headed beings that follow her round and hang off of her every word!
Seemingly high maintenance, Peach proves here that she's a woman who has been through and seen enough in her time to be completely honest about what she's searching for. Surely that's something that should be applauded!
11 Who's Ash Ketchum?
Let's face it: Gary was always more of an interesting character than Ash Ketchum in the Pokémon series. Presumably battling his own demons and projecting his problems onto everybody around him, he was a spoilt brat with an eccentric grandfather, but somebody that viewers couldn't help but be intrigued by. Collecting some of the most attention-grabbing creatures from across the Kanto region, Gary is someone who's constantly looking for praise and pats on the back from those he associates with.
Still, this Tinder profile does nothing to help his case if he's looking to shed his d-bag image. "No fatties" isn't the best sign-off point, and just exactly what was his Raticate doing to him if he's only joined a dating app because he misses the Pokémon? Very odd indeed...
10 Looking For Love, Or Consumers?
Back to the Fallout series here, and it looks as if the mascot for Vault-Tec, Vault Boy has found his way onto the online Tinder dating service! Though we're not entirely convinced this isn't just a cheap opportunity for marketing by the Vault-Tec organization, as we'd say is pretty much proven in that first paragraph in the profile biography, the second paragraph opens up a little more about Vault Boy's interests! Could he really be looking for that special connection?
Swipe right if you're somebody who survived the nuclear disaster and now has a renewed sense of adventure, a love of exploring the wasteland and a joy when collecting formerly insignificant items such as bottle caps and lunchboxes. Sure, you'll also be volunteering as a Vault-Tec overseer, but isn't love worth that tiny price?
9 Skinny Rich Boys Only!
Battleborn may not have been a huge success upon its release, partly due to it dropping around the same time as Overwatch, but that doesn't mean the characters introduced to the world in the game don't deserve happiness! That's exactly what Phoebe Elizabeth Audelia Hemsworth IV is looking for on her Tinder profile, though the engineer doesn't give the best impression with all of the demands listed on her profile biography.
Looking for a young man who has six digits or more in his bank account and a lack of body fat, we actually think Phoebe could have a good time with Pokémon star Gary! He's young, slim and must have some big bucks because of all the traveling he does across the Kanto region! A match made in gaming heaven.
8 Stepping Away From Team Rocket?
Speaking of the Pokémon series, let us not forget the true villains of the franchise: Team Rocket! Jessie was always the cheekier member of the duo, never letting her shady ambitions fall to the wayside and doing her all to make a better life for herself. If this Tinder profile is to be believed, that means finding her Mr. Right, though she may not be interested in more than a bit of fun with her 'PokéMAN'.
Whoever's created this profile is obviously a huge fan of the franchise, using a variety of Pokémon and their names to suggest some rather inappropriate behavior for a series that has such a huge fan base of youngsters! For the adults though, this is a brilliant and funny take on Jessie's existence in the Pokémon universe.

You may think we're cheating a little bit with this one, as Game of Thrones is obviously a television series based on the book series A Song of Ice & Fire, but there HAS actually been a Game of Thrones video game from Telltale Games, putting the player into a number of unique roles and including some familiar faces, such as the above featured Cersei Lannister!
The fan-made profile wastes little time in bringing Cersei's relationship with her brother Jaime Lannister to the forefront here, showcasing the fact that she doesn't mind mixing family with pleasure in the very first line of her profile biography. There's also an apt warning included, and you'd do well to heed her advice! Those who have angered Cersei in the past haven't met the best of ends...
6 One Lonely Gorilla
If Princess Peach is 30, as we were led to believe in an earlier entry, do we really think Donkey Kong is just 24? Somebody's putting little white lies on their profile! With that put aside, this is one gorilla who's looking for a simple life, but wants to share it with that special somebody who can help put him at ease.
Donkey Kong's past is a shady one, as he's served as both an enemy and a companion to Mario and the rest of the positive forces running throughout the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond, but it looks as if a life of crime is something he wants to put behind him. His partner will have to be able to handle someone of his stature, and it appears as if it would help if they're into philosophy and adventuring! Lara Croft, perhaps?
5 Mistified
In our final entry hailing from the Pokémon universe, we take a look at the Tinder profile of fan-favorite herself, Misty! Growing up with a string of female siblings throughout her younger life, she's a true girly girl, and loves cycling. So much so that she refers to her close friend Ash Ketchum in her profile in less-than-complimentary terms for burning her bike! Speaking of, did he ever actually get her a new one?
Bug catchers and those who appreciate their Caterpies and Weedles don't stand a chance with Misty, but for those trainers who enjoy spending time with and training Water type Pokémon, she could be the perfect match. Let's hope she doesn't come across the Bulbasaur profile we featured a little earlier, or she might 'bug out'!
4 Okily Dokily!
As the poster girl for the hugely successful Doki Doki Literature Club! video game, Monika's image does nothing to dispel the stereotypes often associated with anime, but the game itself did a good job of bringing new layers of unsettling horror to the genre. In the game, Monika isn't a character you can write poems for right off the bat, with players instead challenged on making it through to the title's third Art before they can engage with the teenager.
We don't learn much more about the character in her Tinder profile here, but the sheer idea of Monika giving up on poetry in the literature club and moving to online dating was hilarious enough for her to be featured! Whether anybody on there would meet her high standards however remains to be seen...
3 Keep Your Eyes Up
Well, what can we say about Captain Falcon's Tinder profile? He's the perfect embodiment of every d-bag 'bro' that uses dating apps of this sort, with any hope of being considered a nice guy completely eradicated by his choice of username on Instagram! He's the idiot who uses an iPad to take pictures of his abs, and who isn't afraid of keeping on his uniform to lure in potential partners that find that sort of thing attractive. Basically, he's somebody we think should be avoided at all costs!
At 29-years-old, this sort of behavior should really be a thing of the past, but thanks to what we imagine is a pretty hectic work schedule, the usual hero has turned into a villain of the online dating world.
2 A Princess With A Certain Taste
Princess Zelda here pretty much admits she has a type, and that type is Link all over! A lover of "skinny dorks with emo hair", she also says here that she's into adventuring and EDM music; the latter of which we didn't expect from one of the world's most famous fictional Princesses. With love, peace and harmony on her mind, as well as some adult substances if we're reading into that last symbol on her biography properly, she seems ready to party at a minute's notice, and anybody hoping to get with her should be able to do the same!
Active just 40 minutes ago, Princess Zelda is obviously keen in finding somebody to spend some exciting times with. Whether or not she's going about that in the right way is in the eye of the beholder!

Remember when we mentioned Mercy a little earlier in the Genji entry? Looks like she's discovered the cyborg has made a new match with Heather, as she's set up her own profile and donned one of her most suggestive skins to attract potential partners! Promising that she's "always on call", Mercy is clearly hoping to be as seductive as they come in her Tinder biography, and whilst she's 37-years-old, she looks more than capable than hanging with the younger members of the online dating community.
What we want to know is what other kind of pictures Mercy has uploaded to her profile! The one shown is the second one along - is there a sweeter side to the Swiss medic that's being shown, that we can't see?
