Once again, it's time to go undercover as Agent 47 and enter the field. It's been a minute since the last Hitman game was released, so the latest addition to the series, Hitman 3, is very much welcomed. Agent 47's new objective in his game is to take down Providence.

The Hitman series is famous for its stealth play, the game mechanics, and working silly elements into serious situations. Some would even say that the series is an excellent example to look at when gamers are considering stealth games. Despite being well known as an amazing game series that has captured the hearts of players, there are still a few things that beg to be questioned. We will be going over a few things that did not make sense in Hitman 3.

10 The Methods Of Elimination

Most of the fun that comes from playing Hitman is finding ways to kill 47's targets. While some of these elimination methods are elaborate and interesting, some of just weird and lazy. The number of ways to kill someone with a banana was stifling. Methods of eliminating targets can be odd, but some are simply cartoony.

9 The Poor Security

47's targets make up some of the wealthiest and intelligent people on the planet. Yet security is greatly lacking. The greatest security systems do nothing, and the hired guards are not worth the money they are paid. What is worse is that some of these people saw the impending danger and did not act accordingly. No matter where 47 goes in this world, the security is never up to par as he always finds a way to complete the missions in one go.

8 The Partners

We understand why the targets were selected for assassination. What does not make sense is why they chose to be put in those positions. The Partners make up some of the richest people in the world. So why they felt the need to complicate their lives further is beyond reason. Considering their wealth, they could have chosen to stick to shadows are plant themselves somewhere safer.

Furthermore, their actions do not seem to be those of highly intelligent people responsible for running the world. Even the one who fled sensing impending danger still managed to be found and get herself killed.

7 Nobody Questions 47's Presence Anywhere

Party in Hitman 3

47 is a tall bald man with an intimidating presence. How come no one has ever noticed him or went out of their way to speak to him when he did not belong. If the ominous barcode on the back of his head (of which is visible more often than not) did not raise alarms to question, then the staff would surely know he was not a coworker. 47 has to go out of his way to eliminate targets, yet no one seems to wonder what he was doing when someone was set on fire or electrocuted from the equipment he was seen messing with a moment prior.

6 Providence

Providence claims to be powerful and elite, but a lot of the issues they have in the game could suggest otherwise. When 47 set out to take down the organization he did not face much resistance given the society.

Taking down this organization with abundant political influence, many operatives, and huge amounts of cash seemed too easy. The fatalities of a few people, leaders or not, should not have made such an impact on such a power.

5 The Lack Of Targets

In a game about assassinating people, the body count felt a little light this time around. Apex Predator offered us some interesting gameplay, but the lack of names to faces made it feel less personal/ exciting. The game felt more like a drama playing out than a game where we got to be a cool suit-and-tie assassin.

4 No One Has Common Sense

Throughout the whole Hitman series, it has felt like everyone lacks basic common sense. Some guards do not question the mysterious coins falling from the sky and architects that make man-sized air vents. Not to mention, no one seems capable of doing their jobs. There are moments in the game where 47 could be within throwing distance and proceed to throw objects at guards. For some reason, these guards do not consider trying to locate the person throwing pipes at their heads a mere distance across the way.

3 The Handler Relationship

Players play as 47 the entire time, and he does a majority of the physical work. What does not make sense is the need for a handler relationship in the first place. Having a bond form between a handler and operative would cause unnecessary problems later down the road. This is what a leader of an illegal conglomerate should have thought of.

Building on that, what does a handler do for the agents out in the field. It feels like outside the briefing all we get is the occasional commentary. Even though Diana gives good intel here and there, that could be given by almost anyone.

2 The Science And Technology

The advanced technology possessed by 47 and the science present in this world is astonishing. People have managed to create clones and tech that lets you hack highly secure facilities in a matter of seconds. Aside from 47's day to day life, the facilities in his world are something entirely new. Hitman 3 really gave fans another taste of how 47s world is far more superior.

1 47

47's existence, in general, is astonishing. Somehow this one man has managed to evade detection throughout the entire game while taking out some major players. Gamers should also care to remember that he is a clone made with the DNA of five men, whom he looks nothing alike. This is a man who has accomplished the impossible and is practically a ghost to the world.
