GOG’s Summer Sale is still going strong, but will be ending on Monday, June 15th at 1 PM UTC. Luckily, that gives gamers the entire weekend to snag some of the over 3,000 video game deals that are happening, with some being up to 95% off.

If those figures aren’t enticing enough, the finale of the GOG’s Summer Sale will feature Hitman: Absolution being absolutely free for the remaining 72-hours of the event.

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s PlayStation 5 release event, in which the trailer along with in-game footage of Hitman 3 was shown off, interested players can get a taste of everyone’s favorite assassin for free, so long as they are willing to give it a go on PC.

As the fifth entry in the series, Hitman: Absolution was originally released in late 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, and takes place following the events of Hitman: Blood Money. Hitman: Absolution was the first game in the series to introduce Contracts, which allowed players to create their own missions for other online players to take on (prior to the servers being shut down in 2018).

At any rate, Hitman: Absolution is a great jumping in point for players looking for stealthy gameplay action - especially for free. However, if Agent 47's considerable lack of hair doesn’t suit your needs, there are still plenty of other titles going for cheap that would be worth checking out, including:

  • Metro Exodus (-50%)
  • Supreme Commander Gold Edition (-80%)
  • Supreme Commander 2 (-75%)
  • Life is Strange: Complete Season (-80%)
  • Life is Strange: Before the Storm (-80%).

Additionally, this weekend will be the final chance for players to try out the demos for upcoming games, some of which include Desperados III, Destroy All Humans!, and the reimagined System Shock. Players can also enter for a chance to win the prestigious GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition graphics card in GOG’s forum giveaway.

Gamers just need to take advantage of all the deals available to them before the sale ends on Monday, June 15th.
