Light Cones are some of the most important pieces of gear found in Honkai: Star Rail. Unlike Relics, Light Cones are not farmable. They are usually obtained from Stellar Warps, the game's gacha banners. They can provide much-needed buff for the wearer and the entire party.
Each Light Cone can only be assigned to a character of the corresponding Path, which is why the buff provided are quite specific in their uses and not base stat boosts like Relics often come with. Just like characters, Light Cones can range in rarity, but the lower the rarity does not always mean a worse Light Cone.
7 The Abundance
Time Waits For No One - Five Star
There is a reason some Light Cones are locked behind Stellar Warp banners. This Light Cone increases your character's HP and outgoing healing by 12 percent, but it also provides additional DMG to an enemy depending on the amount healed. With this Light Cone, you can have your healer focus solely on recovery while you let the additional DMG trickle in.
Post-Op Conversation - Four Star
One of the easiest Light Cones to acquire if you want to maximize the healing output of characters like Natasha, whose Ultimate can provide a huge burst of healing. This Light Cone increases Ultimate healing by 12 percent while increasing energy regeneration by eight percent, allowing you to cast your healing skills faster.
6 The Destruction
On The Fall Of An Aeon - Five Star
This Light Cone can be easily obtained through Herta's Store, and it is one of the best ones for any character in the Destruction path. It can increase the user's ATK by eight percent and can increase their DMG by 12 percent if they perform a weakness break on an enemy.
Nowhere To Run - Four Star
The Nameless Honor Light Cone has a higher ATK buff than On The Fall Of An Aeon starting at 20% and can restore HP upon defeating an enemy so it becomes a choice of preference between the two. Especially if fighting an enemy whose weakness you cannot exploit.
5 The Erudition
Night On The Milky Way - Five Star
Just like Hunt characters specialize in clearing out one target swiftly, Erudition characters come equipped with great AoE tools. With Night On The Milky Way, your character's ATK will increase by eight percent for every enemy on the field. It even gives you an extra DMG buff for one turn if you manage to hit a Weakness Break.
Today Is Another Peaceful Day - Four Star
While this Light Cone might seem a bit conditional, the DMG buff you can receive from how high your character's Max Energy is can be massive if you build your Erudition characters properly.
4 The Harmony
But The Battle Isn't Over - Five Star
Harmony characters need any buff they can get to speed up their cooldowns so they can provide even more buffs to the party. With this Light Cone, your support characters can regenerate Energy eight percent faster, but it also gives you an extra Skill Point to play with whenever the wearer uses their Ultimate.
Carve The Moon, Weave The Clouds - Four Star
This Light Cone provides a random buff to the party at the beginning of a battle. It can increase ATK by ten percent, CRIT DMG by 12 percent, or Energy Regeneration Rate by six percent. While it can be a bit inconsistent, there is no denying that any of these buffs are a welcome addition to the arsenal that Harmony characters provide.
3 The Hunt
In The Night - Five Star
Characters found on The Hunt path want to hit hard and fast. With In The Night, you can make sure your character's attacks, skills, and Ultimate always CRIT. It can increase CRIT Rate by 12 percent and the faster the character is, the Light Cone can increase their Basic ATK and Skill DMG by six percent.
Only Silence Remains - Four Star
Since Hunt characters, like Seele, mainly focus on single-target attacks, Only Silence Remains is a great Light Cone to have in your arsenal. It gives a base ATK bonus of 16 percent, and it can give your character another 12 percent in CRIT Rate up as long as there are two or fewer enemies on the field.
2 The Nihility
In The Name Of The World - Five Star
Nihility characters love their debuffs and with In The Name Of The World, you can make sure those skills always land. With an Effect Hit Rate up by 20 percent whenever the wearer uses their skill, plus 20 percent extra DMG to debuffed enemies, you'll be wishing you had this Light Cone as soon as you pulled Welt.
Resolution Shines As Pearls Of Sweat - Four Star
Resolution is an interesting one since it uses a debuff not used by many characters. It has a 60 percent chance to Ensnare an enemy when the wearer attacks and when Ensnared, that enemy's DEF lowers by 12 percent, making them easy pickings for your favorite single-target DPS.
1 The Preservation
Moment Of Victory - Five Star
Preservation path characters, like the mighty Gepard, will always be your go-to tanks. That means Light Cones like Moment Of Victory will be indispensable in your inventory. This Light Cone can increase your DEF by 24 percent and draws aggro from enemies. If you think that is a great buff, wait until an enemy hit you and your DEF goes up another 24 percent.
Day One Of My New Life - Four Star
This Light Cone does not have the whopping DEF boost that Moment Of Victory does, but it does give the wearer a modest 16 percent DEF boost and increases DMG RES for all allies by eight percent. The best part about this Light Cone is that adorable March 7th and Pom Pom artwork. Of course, the boosts are good, too.
