There are plenty of things to experience in Honkai: Star Rail. If you like its battle system especially, the Simulated Universe can be pretty fun, and it provides nice rewards. Blessings are a huge part of winning battles easily, and they can make or break your run.
That's where Curios come in. The more you explore the Simulated Universe, the more Curios you get. They can greatly enhance your Blessings, or your party in general, which makes them an invaluable asset. But some of them can also harm you. Picking the best ones is the key to success.
8 Dimension Reduction Dice
This Curio allows you to choose an extra Blessing after winning a battle, though it also takes one Blessing to choose from out of the equation. But even with that condition, the Dimension Reduction Dice is incredibly useful. The more Blessings you have, the better your chances of winning, and sometimes having to pick only one Blessing when there are multiple great ones is a pain.
It's a low-risk, high-reward situation. Even though this Curio reduces the available Blessings by one, chances are it more than makes up for it with the Blessings you still can choose. However, keep in mind that it'll be destroyed after being used twice.
7 Chaos Trametes
You might hesitate to reset Blessings when they're not great because it costs Cosmic Fragments to do so. This Curio is there to relieve that worry a little. It works very simply, giving you an extra free Blessings reset when you're choosing them after winning a battle.
As unimpressive as it might sound, it can actually help tremendously down the line. There are times when your luck isn't great, and you get a bad pool of Blessings to pick from. The Chaos Trametes let you reset it and hopefully get a better choice at no cost to you.
6 Fortune Glue
The Blessings you get come in different rarities, and you'll obviously want to have the higher rarity ones with you whenever you can help it. But luck isn't always on your side, and you might find yourself seeing more one-star rarity Blessings than anything else.
If you have Fortune Glue on hand, you won't have to worry about that as much because it guarantees that all the Blessings that appear will be of three-star rarity. However, this Curio is destroyed after being activated once, so you must use it wisely. Pairing it with the Chaos Trametes for a free three-star rarity Blessing refresh gives you even more value.
5 Record From Beyond The Sky
This Curio can really save your bacon against particularly annoying enemies and especially against bosses. When starting a battle, all DMG your characters get hit with will be nullified until after they're attacked. They'll also be immune to debuffs for three turns. However, Damage Over Time still affects them.
That's why Record From Beyond The Sky is a lifesaver when you're up against bosses who attack first and like to use debuffs. This Curio can turn the tables and make the chances of winning against them that much higher. It also doesn't get destroyed after being triggered a set amount of times.
4 The Doctor's Robe
Path Resonance is a mechanic that can help you out in a pinch, so increasing its Energy is always a good idea. Usually, you'd have to plan how to use it wisely, as getting its Energy to max doesn't happen very quickly. But with The Doctor's Robe, you no longer have to hold back.
Not only does it bring Path Resonance Energy to its maximum level every battle, but it also increases Path Resonance DMG by a whopping 40 percent. Best of all, this Curio doesn't expire, so it's definitely one of the more overpowered ones you can get. Get ready to spam that Path Resonance.
3 Infinitely Recursive Code
You have to be careful with Code Curios, since they'll affect the characters negatively for three battles before being fixed and switching to positive effects. Infinitely Recursive Code can be one of the best Curios if you can survive its disadvantage for three battles.
You need Skill Points to use your characters' Skills, and doing a Basic ATK recovers one Skill Point. This Curio consumes one extra Skill Point every time a character uses a Skill, which means you need to plan more carefully while it's active. However, after three battles, it recovers one extra Skill Point every time a character uses a Basic ATK, allowing you to use Skills much more frequently.
2 Punklorde Mentality
If you want to ensure victory, exploiting enemy weaknesses is a good way to do that. It's pretty much a staple of turn-based games. This Curio makes it so that, for three turns, all enemies in battle are guaranteed to have a weakness added to them that's the same element as one of your characters.
It's useful if you don't have many different types of characters in your team, but even if you do, the 100 percent weakness chance makes defeating even the strongest enemies that much easier.
1 The Parchment That Always Eats
This Curio looks menacing, but thankfully, it's only a menace to your enemies. Every time you enter battle, all enemies take damage proportional to 30 percent of their Max HP. This makes battles go faster, and it automatically decreases the chances of a character annoyingly being killed by an enemy who was almost dead.
It also helps you deal with enemies who are on the tankier side, or whose weaknesses aren't covered by any of your characters. Much of the secret to success is damaging the opponent before they can damage you, and this Curio certainly helps with that.
