Best Relics And Planar Ornaments For Himeko

Himeko is all about using area attacks to damage multiple enemies at the same time using fire-element damage. To that end, we recommend using the following Relic and Planar Ornament sets.

Type

Name

Explanation

Relic

Firesmith of Lava-Forging

The 2-piece bonus of this set increases fire damage by 10%, while the 4-piece bonus increases the wearer's Skill damage by 12%, and after using their Ultimate, their next attack deals 12% more fire damage. Overall, this set provides a high damage boost for Himeko, and is the best option available.

Musketeer of Wild Wheat

The main reason to use this set is to get the flat 10% attack boost from the 2-piece bonus. This can be paired with the 2-piece bonus of Firesmith in Lava-Forging for a nice bonus to all of Himeko's damage.

Planar Ornament

Space Stealing Station

When equipped with both Space Stealing Station pieces, the wearer's attack is increased by 12%, and if their speed is higher than 120, their attack is increased by an additional 12%. By building up Himeko's speed stat, this set will provide a massive 24% bonus damage.

Inert Salsotto

The Inert Salsotto set increases the wearer's crit rate by 8%, and if their current crit rate is above 50%, their Ultimate and follow-up attacks deal 15% more damage. This set is great for critical hit-focused builds, but relies more on energy recharge for Himeko to use her Ultimate more often.

As a damage dealer, you will want Himeko to have the highest damage-based stats you can get. Primarily, critical hit, critical damage, and attack stats are your main focus, with speed and fire damage being good secondary options. Check the table below for optimal stat distribution for your Relics.

Best Light Cones For Himeko

Honkai Star Rail Himeko Splash and Menu

There are a few good Erudition path Light Cones available for Himeko, but two of the best options are five-star Warp-exclusive Light Cones that may be difficult to get ahold of. Still, below you can see a list of a few good options for Himeko.

Light Cone

Explanation

Night on the Milky Way (5-star)

Night on the Milky Way is Himeko's signature Light Cone. While equipped, the wearer gains 9% additional attack for each enemy on the field, up to 45%. When an enemy is broken, the wearer deals 30% more damage for the next turn. This Light Cone is exceptionally strong in multi-enemy encounters, drastically increasing Himeko's damage.

Before Dawn (5-star)

Before Dawn increases the wearer's crit damage by 36%, and their Skill and Ultimate damage by 18%. After they use a Skill or Ultimate, they gain a special buff that is consumed by their next follow-up attack, increasing its damage by 48%. This Light Cone provides high damage bonuses and makes Himeko's follow-up attacks even stronger, but requires some investment into crit chance to shine.

Today is Another Peaceful Day (4-star)

The wearer of this Light Cone has their damage increased based on their maximum Energy. For every point of Energy they have, their damage is increased by 0.2%, up to 160 Energy or 32% bonus damage. Himeko has a maximum Energy of 120, so this Light Cone will always provide a 24% damage bonus. Not bad, but not nearly as strong as the two five-star Light Cones above.

The Birth of the Self (4-star)

The Birth of the Self Light Cone increases the wearer's follow-up attack damage by 24%, and if the enemy's HP is below 50%, this damage is increased by an additional 24%. This Light Cone is great for fights where you can consistently trigger Himeko's follow-up attacks, but doesn't provide bonuses to her normal attack, Skill, or Ultimate, making it a bit more situational.

Himeko's Skill deals more damage to enemies afflicted with Burn.

Benchmark

At 80% or higher HP, Himeko's crit rate is increased by 15%.

When upgrading Himeko's Traces, prioritize her Skill and Ultimate first, then her attack and Talent, and her Technique last. Her abilities Starfire and Magma are very good, boosting Himeko's damage drastically, so try to get these upgrades as soon as you can.

Tips For Using Himeko

Himeko is great at breaking enemies that are weak to fire damage, and quickly killing low-health enemies in multi-wave battles. Himeko works best in teams that can consistently break the enemy's weak points to take advantage of her follow-up attack.

When constructing a team for Himeko, be sure to take the enemy's weaknesses into consideration. If you can't break the enemy, Himeko's usefulness is drastically reduced.

In battles against multiple enemies, target the middle enemy with Himeko's Skill, unless an adjacent enemy has fire weakness, in which case you should target that enemy instead. In some battles, it may be a good idea to save your Ultimate to use against reinforcements, but for the most part, you should use it as soon as it's available for the extra damage.

Are Himeko's Eidolons Worth It?

Himeko has several useful Eidolons that can boost her damage output, but as a five-star character, these may be difficult to get. However, her Eidolon levels will only make her stronger, especially her first and fourth Eidolon levels.

Himeko's first Eidolon level increases her speed after Victory Rush is used, and her fourth Eidolon level makes her gain an additional Charge stack when breaking enemies, allowing her to use Victory Rush much more frequently.

Although these bonuses are very nice to have, we don't recommend focusing heavily on unlocking them. Getting multiple copies of five-star characters can be very expensive, and in Himeko's case, it's not really worth it, unless she is your favorite character.
