Best Relics And Planar Ornaments For Physical Trailblazer

Honkai Star Rail Trailblazer Relic Screen

If you're still in the early stages of the game, you won't have the Relics section in your character information screen. This unlocks only after you get to a higher Trailblaze Level. You can place up to four Relics and two Planar Ornaments on every character in the game, and they give you a special buff if you have two or four of the same type.

It's more important to focus on the Relic stats in the beginning, but you can start looking for set bonuses after Trailblaze Level 40.

Here are the best Relic and Ornament sets for Physical Trailblazer:

Type

Name

Reason For Synergy

Relics

Champion Of Streetwise Boxing

This set gives you a ten percent Physical DMG Bonus at two-piece. Moreover, you can get up to 25 percent extra ATK after attacking the enemies or getting hit five times. Both these stats are great for Trailblazer.

Thief Of Shooting Meteor

If you have four pieces of this set, you can get up to 32 percent Break Effect. This stat increases the damage dealt when your attack breaks an enemy's Toughness bar.

It goes quite well with Physical Trailblazer because their attacks are great at shredding both single-target and multi-target Toughness.

Ornaments

Celestial Differentiator

This Ornament can be acquired from World Five of Simulated Universe. To get the full benefit from it, you'll need to have over 120 percent Crit DMG on your Trailblazer, which makes it good during late game.

Whenever you enter the battle, it essentially gives you a high chance to Crit on your first hit.

Talia Kingdom Of Banditry

This set increases your Break Effect by 20 percent automatically, which stacks well with the Thief of Shooting Meteor Relic set. Moreover, you can get some more Break Effect if you have high SPD.

Using this set means that you'll have to build a lot of SPD on Physical Trailblazer through your Relic and Ornament stats.

Apart from the synergy with Relic and Ornament sets, another important aspect is the main and sub-stats you get on them. For Physical Trailblazer, you'll be looking to get Crit, ATK Percent, Break Effect, and a little bit of SPD on your sub-stats. All of them can be quite hard to get, so you'll have to prioritize the first three.

As for the main stats, the Head and Hand Relics are guaranteed to get HP and ATK respectively. Here's what you should look for when it comes to the rest:

Body

Crit Rate/DMG

Feet

ATK Percent (SPD if you're using the Talia Kingdom Ornament set)

Planar Sphere

Physical DMG Bonus

Link Rope

Break Effect / ATK Percent

You can farm artifacts from different Caverns of Corrosion in the game, but it's recommended to do that after level 40.

Moreover, Ornaments will be available in the Simulated Universe from World three onwards.

Best Light Cones For Physical Trailblazer

Honkai Star Rail Physical Trailblazer Reaching Out

Light Cones are the weapon equivalent of Honkai: Star Rail. You can get them by opening chests, progressing the game, or pulling on different banners. Each Light Cone has its own ability, but it only works if its path is the same as the character's. With that in mind, you can only use Destruction Light Cones on Physical Trailblazer.

Though there are still a bunch of choices in the game:

Something Irreplaceable (Five Star)

This Light Cone increases your ATK by 24 percent at Superimposition one. Moreover, your HP gets restored and you get some more DMG if you defeat an enemy or get attacked.

As a Destruction character, your Trailblazer will likely get attacked, which will trigger this buff.

A Secret Vow (Four Star)

A Secret Vow is Arlan's signature Light Cone that can be acquired randomly on any banner. As soon as you equip this Light Cone, your DMG will be increased by 20 percent. It's always better to get a DMG increase than ATK in Star Rail.

Moreover, if an enemy has a higher HP Percent than the Trailblazer, you get another 20 percent DMG boost. You can use a shielder with this Light Cone to keep Trailblazer at low health.

The Moles Welcome You (Four Star)

Whenever you attack an opponent with one of your active abilities, this Light Cone increases your ATK. It's a simple Light Cone that's great on Trailblazer.

Collapsing Sky (Three Star)

This is a great three-star choice for Trailblazer during the early game. You can easily get it to Superimposition five, which will allow it to give you 40 percent extra DMG for Skill and Basic Attack.

Mutual Demise (Three Star)

This can be another decent three-star option that gives you some Crit Rate when your health is below 80 percent. Though you should only use this if you don't have any of the other mentioned Light Cones.

Physical Trailblazer Traces Overview And Priority

Honkai Star Rail Trailblazer Looking At Phone

Much like every other character, Physical Trailblazer has three active Traces (abilities) and a bunch of other Passive Traces. Here's everything this character can do:

Ability Name

Type

Description

Farewell Hit

Basic Attack

Deals a certain amount of Physical DMG to one enemy. The Basic Attack for each character does the same amount of damage at a particular level.

RIP Home Run

Skill

You can use this to hit three enemies at maximum, and it'll deal a large amount of Physical DMG to all of them. This is also great for shredding an enemy's Toughness bar.

Stardust Ace

Ultimate

When you activate the Ultimate ability, you'll get two stances that'll replace your Basic Attack and Skill button. Press the Basic Attack button to deal a huge chunk of damage to a single enemy.

On the other hand, you can press the Skill button to deal lesser damage to three enemies. The main target will get the most damage, while the targets adjacent to it get a little less.

Immortal Third Strike

Technique

This ability replaces your Skill when you're not in battle. You can use this to instantly gain 15 percent health on all allies. This 15 percent is based on each ally's health.

Perfect Pickoff

Talent

Whenever you get rid of an opponent's Toughness bar and trigger Weakness Break, your ATK increases by a certain amount. This can stack up to two times.

Perseverance

Bonus Ability

Whenever you get stacks for Perfect Pickoff, your DEF is increased by 10 percent.

Ready For Battle

Bonus Ability

Get 15 Energy for free every time you start a certain battle. It's important to not have your Energy capped because of this.

Fighting Will

Bonus Ability

Your Skill and AoE part of the Ultimate deals 25 percent more DMG to the enemies.

Apart from all these special abilities, the Trailblazer also gets 28 percent ATK, 18 percent Max HP, and 12.5 percent DEF after upgrading all the Traces.

Physical Trailblazer is a phenomenal character because you can use both their Skill and Basic Attack to deal a good amount of DMG. However, when it comes to Traces priority, the Skill takes the throne. After you're done upgrading the Skill, you can move over to their Ultimate and then the Basic Attack.

Keep upgrading the Talent whenever you get a chance. When it comes to Bonus Abilities, Fighting Will is extremely important as it significantly increases your DMG output. You can get the other two abilities whenever you get enough materials for them.

One good thing about Physical Trailblazer is that you can get all their Eidolons for free simply by progressing the story.
