Honkai: Star Rail - Best Team Members For Welt
Let's see who goes well with this five-star character.

Seele was the first five-star limited character who made an appearance in the game, and she belongs to The Hunt Path with the Quantum combat type. You'll already get carried by Seele alone during the early game, but she will perform much better with certain characters.

Updated on October 25, 2023, by Sanyam Jain: Ever since the release of Silver Wolf, players have been waiting to be able to make a mono-Quantum team where you won't be bothered by the enemy's Weakness too much. This is now possible if you have Fu Xuan and Lynx in your account.

11 Welt

  • Path - Nihility
  • Combat Type - Imaginary

Welt is one of the standard banner characters in the game, and you might also remember him from Honkai Impact 3rd. Being an Imaginary character already makes him great with Seele. Whenever you trigger Weakness Break with Imaginary, the affected enemy is slowed and has their action delayed.

Moreover, Welt also has a built-in slow and action delay with his Skill and Ultimate. When you use the ultimate, every single enemy will suffer from the mentioned debuffs. When you go through Seele's Traces, you'll notice that her kit is based around getting extra SPD so that you can fit in more attacks.

You can build a ton of SPD on her and use Welt to slow down the enemies, which is going to increase the number of turns she gets significantly.

10 Fu Xuan

  • Path - Preservation
  • Combat Type - Quantum

Fu Xuan was the first limited Preservation character released in the game, and she instantly became one of the most useful characters because of her damage mitigation abilities. After using her Skill, the Matrix of Prescience will be activated on the field, which transfers 65 percent of her allies' damage taken to her.

The main reason for Fu Xuan to synergize well with Seele is her ability to be Skill Point-positive and having Quantum as the combat type. Your dream of having a mono-Quantum team that can destroy everything becomes a reality with this unit.

9 Tingyun

  • Path - Harmony
  • Combat Type - Lightning

Tingyun is a four-star character hailing from The Xianzhou Luofu planet, and she's part of the Harmony Path. Characters with this path buff other characters in the team. Tingyun's skill buffs a particular ally's ATK and deals Lightning DMG as a follow-up attack whenever the buffed ally attacks an enemy.

These beginner tips will help you save a lot of time and use your resources efficiently in Honkai: Star Rail.

This buff can last for up to three turns, but it can only affect one ally at a time. This skill buff will increase Seele's damage significantly, and it becomes even better with the Ultimate, which helps you get Seele's Ultimate much faster. If you execute the combinations correctly, you might even be able to use two Seele Ultimates in one turn itself.

8 Dan Heng

  • Path - The Hunt
  • Combat Type - Wind

It might be a little counter-intuitive to put two Hunt characters on the same team, but there's something special about Dan Heng. When you attack an enemy with Dan Heng's skill and deal a Crit hit, the enemies will be slowed down by 12 percent for the next two turns. Apart from that, he can also increase his own speed.

The only problem with the combination of these two characters is that you might suffer from a lack of Skill Points. You only get the points when you use your Basic Attack, but both of them deal the most damage with their skill. Moreover, you'll likely have to use a healer on the team, who will also need Skill points.

To avoid this, it's recommended to alternate between both Dan Heng and Seele's Basic Attack and Skill. If you trigger the SPD reduction on an enemy with Dan Heng, you can use his Basic Attack for the next two turns as well. They can work especially great together against a single-target boss enemy.

7 Luocha

  • Path - Abundance
  • Combat Type - Imaginary

Luocha is an Abundance character who can automatically heal your party members, remove a debuff from them, remove a buff from the enemy, and deal some damage since he scales on ATK. He single-handedly puts every other Abundance character to shame, and he can go especially well with Seele.

Seele can easily end up using one to three Skill Points in just one turn if she defeats an enemy, and Luocha can bring these Skill Points back since you usually don't have to use his Skill. These two can be quite a broken combination together.

6 Lynx

  • Path - Abundance
  • Combat Type - Quantum

Having a healer can be quite important in Honkai: Star Rail, and not everyone can afford five-star healers like Luocha or Bailu. This is where Lynx comes into play since you can get her at any point on any banner. It's a surprise that Lynx isn't a five-star character considering the utility she can provide.

Not only can she constantly heal your characters whenever they get a turn, but also increases the enemies' chance of attacking Preservation and Destruction characters. However, she's especially good with Seele just because they share the combat type.

5 Bronya

  • Path - Harmony
  • Combat Type - Wind

If you've played even a bit of Honkai Impact 3rd, you already know that there's no way Bronya and Seele don't synergize with each other. They're quite inseparable in that game after all. Bronya increases a character's DMG, removes a debuff, and allows them to use an ability instantly when she uses her Skill.

Trailblaze Power is a resource that regularly regenerates in Honkai: Star Rail, and it's important to use it efficiently.

A DMG buff is much better than an ATK buff in Honkai: Star Rail. Moreover, Seele already gets some extra turns because of her kit. This will allow you to use even more abilities on her while increasing her damage at the same time. Bronya's Ultimate will also increase the ATK and Crit DMG for all allies.

If you fully upgrade Seele's Traces, you'll already get 24 percent Crit DMG for free, and this ability will give you another 12 percent at the very least. With the correct Relics, this combination will be unstoppable.

4 Natasha

  • Path - Abundance
  • Combat Type - Physical

Healers are one of the strongest team members in the turn-based combat system of Honkai: Star Rail. You can prevent some of the direct damage from the enemies using a shield, but the enemies inflict a lot of debuffs on your characters during the late game. The damage from these debuffs cannot be stopped by a shield.

That's where characters like Natasha come in. After upgrading her talents, you'll be able to clear a character's debuff and heal them at the same time. Seele has a bonus ability that reduces the chances of her getting attacked at low health, but you can't rely on that to protect you completely.

3 Yukong

  • Path - Harmony
  • Combat Type - Imaginary

Released on the same banner as Luocha for the first time, Yukong sparked quite a lot of debate because of the way her abilities work. After using her Skill and Ultimate, she can give an ATK, Crit Rate, and Crit DMG boost to the two characters that take a turn after her. While the buffs are awesome, you'd need a lot of micro-management with her party members.

This problem is solved with Seele since she inherently has high SPD and also advances her actions whenever the Basic Attack is used. You can easily make her take a turn after Yukong because of this. Moreover, her buffed state attacks don't count as a turn, but they can make use of Yukong's buffs.

2 Silver Wolf

  • Path - Nihility
  • Combat Type - Quantum

The release of Silver Wolf made a bunch of people regret not getting Seele as you can never go wrong if you put them together. This character implants a certain Weakness whenever she triggers her Skill on a certain enemy, and this Weakness always belongs to one of the combat types in your team.

Seele is one of the best single-target DPS characters, and Silver Wolf removes the only situation where she's not viable. The only issue with using them together is that you might run out of Skill Points quickly, and you'll have to use characters that are good at regenerating them.

1 Asta

  • Path - Harmony
  • Combat Type - Fire

Asta might not be the best character for many scenarios, but she has her uses. You can use her with Seele in almost every instance. If you're fighting multiple enemies at the same time, Asta's skill can give you five stacks of ATK boost almost every time because of her Talent.

On the other hand, if you're fighting a single-target enemy that's weak against Fire, Asta's skill is very good at removing the Toughness bar. When you use her Burst, she'll increase all ally's SPD for two turns as well, which stacks with Seele quite well. This combination can increase your overall damage significantly.
