Quick Links
Simulated Universe is one of the endgame contents in Honkai: Star Rail that resets every week to give you a bunch of rewards. This mechanic is first unlocked when you've just beaten the Doomsday Beast where Herta takes you to the beta test. You'll have to finish this quest to progress in the story.
After that, you'll unlock an Adventure Mission for Simulated Universe beta test two. Once you finish that quest and progress in the story a little more, Herta will send you a message saying the real Universe has been unlocked and you can try the first world as soon as you get this message.
Possible Enemies In World One
You'll mostly see the Antimatter Legion enemies in this world, which are the same enemies that you found all around Herta Space Station. The smaller enemies that you face are always randomized, but the Elite enemy and the final bosses are the same for this world:
Enemy Name |
Type |
Abilities |
---|---|---|
Voidranger: Trampler |
Elite |
This enemy looks like a centaur and it has a bunch of special abilities. Most commonly, you'll see it doing a kick attack where it damages a single ally, and a stomp attack where it deals AoE damage. It can also enter a charging phase sometimes. When it gets the next turn after this charging phase, it'll unleash a special attack dealing heavy damage. It's recommended to get rid of its Toughness bar so it can't perform this attack. |
Blaze Out Of Space |
Final Boss |
This is one of the two final Fragmentum monsters that you'll go against in the final floor of World one. Much like every other boss enemy, it'll perform two attacks in a row. The first attack will usually deal damage to single or multiple allies. In the second attack, this enemy tends to boost its own attack or apply some other buff to itself. Whenever that happens, you can expect its next turn to deal a heavy blow. |
Ice Out Of Space |
Final Boss |
This boss roughly performs the same as Blaze Out Of Space. The only difference is that it can freeze your allies and apply Ice DoT instead of Fire. |
Recommended Characters For World One
Weakness is quite an important mechanic in Honkai: Star Rail, which is why you have to think about the best characters for each world in Simulated Universe. Even if your characters are at a high level, you can be defeated simply because you didn't choose the right team to deal with enemy Toughness.
With that in mind, here are some of the best characters here:
Sampo |
Sampo is one of the best four-star characters as he breaks enemy Toughness quickly and apply DoT on them, which means they take damage simply because they get a turn. Moreover, he's Wind type, which is one of the recommended elements for this world. |
---|---|
Asta |
Apart from her kit, the greatest thing about Asta is that she's given for free as you progress in the main story. She's also great at breaking the enemy's Toughness and provides some SPD to your allies, which helps you get more turns. |
Natasha |
Natasha is another free character who heals your allies with both her Skill and Ultimate. Since it's turn-based combat, you can't prevent a certain ally from taking damage. This is why having a healer is quite important. |
Hook |
You can only acquire Hook through the Gacha system in the game, but she's a great Fire unit who'll break enemy shields and deal a ton of damage to them. She can be great against one of the final bosses. |
Sushang |
Physical is one of the recommended types for this world since two of the three boss enemies are weak to it. Sushang is a great Physical DPS for you here. |
Dan Heng |
Once again, Dan Heng is a Wind DPS character, and he's given for free to everyone. He's one of the best characters to upgrade at the start. |
Seele |
Finally, this World is home for Seele if you're lucky enough to get her. Both the final monsters are weak to Quantum, so she can remove her Toughness bar and deal a ton of damage. Moreover, a lot of the Antimatter Legion enemies are also weak to Quantum. |
Tips For Beating World One
Here are a few tips that can help you get past the first floor of Simulated Universe:
- If you've started upgrading your Ability Tree, you'll be able to get the first Path Resonance for some of the paths. The best path for the first world is The Hunt. The special ability for this path will make up for all the lack of damage you have.
- This world contains a total of seven floors, and they have the same layout every time. The rooms will go in the following order: Combat - Elite - Respite - Combat - Occurrence - Respite - Boss.
- Simulated Universe is Roguelike in nature, which means that even if you lose a run, it won't be wasted. You can get Ability Points at the end of each run, which can give you some cool upgrades.
- Whenever you defeat a wave of enemies in the first world, there's a chance that you can pick more than one blessing.
