In the new immersive VR game Horizon Call Of The Mountain, you play as Ryas, a disgraced former soldier, as you maneuver around a gorgeous world built for the PS VR2. This game is set in the world first seen in Horizon: Zero Dawn, and there are plenty of opportunities to see aspects of this game series up close and personal as you traverse through it.

As you progress through the game, using a bow and arrow to hit targets and enemies, you will encounter beacons that you can shoot and light. These are mostly there for those who like to fully complete a game and act as a nice added puzzle.

Where To Find The Beacons

Horizon Call Of The Mountain Upper Slopes Beacon 1

Your first mission will be going through the upper slopes of Brightdawn.

Immediately as you spawn into the mission, your first task will be shooting a beacon, and it is pointed out to you in-game.

Ensure you are hitting the target above the beacon and not the beacon itself, as it will not set it on fire.

Second Beacon

Horizon Call Of The Mountain Upper Slopes Beacon 2

In the far distance to the right of where the first beacon was, you will be able to see the second beacon. This one is a slightly harder shot but is not that difficult to see.

Third Beacon

Horizon Call Of The Mountain Upper Slopes Beacon 3

At the top of the rock face, in the same direction as the first two beacons, is your third. This one is very easy to both see and hit.

Fourth Beacon

Fifth Beacon

Moving towards your left, you will find a deep ravine where another beacon is waiting for you to hit.

Horizon Call Of The Mountain Upper Slopes Beacon 5

Move forward towards where the fourth beacon was, and you will find more of the area opens up. This is where you will be continuing with the mission.

Before you move away from your platform, look up and to the left, and you will find the fifth beacon.

Sixth Beacon

From where you were standing for the fifth beacon, simply look straight on towards where you will be moving, and in the distance, you will see the sixth beacon.

Seventh Beacon

Horizon Call Of The Mountain Upper Slopes Beacon 7

This beacon is a little tricky to see, but if you look just above the sixth beacon, you will see the occasional shine that comes from the target, which will be enough for you to spot the seventh beacon.

Eighth Beacon

Horizon Call Of The Mountain Upper Slopes Beacon 8

For the final beacon in this small area, you will want to walk backward away from where the mission wants you to go, and if you look behind you, there will be a massive waterfall.

This beacon is very far away, but you can find it at the top right of where the water is coming from.

For the next set of beacons, you will have to move on to the next stage of the level. This will involve some climbing up and along the cliff face.

Ninth Beacon

Horizon Call Of The Mountain Upper Slopes Beacon 9

As soon as you reach the next stage, move towards the right after climbing up onto the ground, and you will find the ninth beacon almost straight in front of you.

Tenth Beacon

Horizon Call Of The Mountain Upper Slopes Beacon 10

Looking above the ninth beacon and following the cliff face in front of you is the tenth beacon.

Eleventh Beacon

Horizon Call Of The Mountain Upper Slopes Beacon 11

One of the hardest beacons to find is the 11th. For this beacon, you must shoot into the cave covered in fog where the target can barely be seen.

For the final beacon, you will need to continue to the last stage of this mission.

Final Beacon

Horizon Call Of The Mountain Upper Slopes Beacon 12

This final beacon is particularly hidden. Make your way around the left side of the area past the few broken tents, where there is an open view of the rest of the map.

You then want to look up and to the left when you are as close to the edge as possible, and you will find the target hidden at the top of a large rock.
