This includes side quests and activities, but also just discovering some of the stunning locations and interesting characters throughout the Forbidden West. It's a huge map to explore, and it all feels incredible to discover for the first time.

If you're the kind to go after everything there is to do in the game, then you have a long road ahead. Horizon Forbidden West will take anywhere between 120-150 hours to 100 percent complete. Of course, this can vary depending on playstyle, difficulty, and how many of those pesky Datapoints you need to track down.

As a general rule, we found that you can stick closely to about one percent of completion per hour, when playing naturally. This trickles off towards the later game when you have the last few things to uncover, but it means the experience as a whole is well-rounded, and most of your time is spent doing something new and interesting.
