Hasbro, the conglomerate behind the licensing of toy and gaming favorites like Power Rangers, Nerf, Marvel and My Little Pony, has recently announced the dates and hosts for its upcoming con - Hasbro Pulse Con 2021, a virtual event held over two days.

Over the weekend, Hasbro released a 20 second clip to their YouTube channel, which is also where the actual event will be livestreamed. The video revealed the hosts for Hasbro Pulse Con 2021: Jackie Jennings - SYFY Wire on-air correspondent and producer - and Khleo Thomas - actor and influencer.

Since Hasbro recently created a division focused on the creation and distribution of tabletop games, namely Magic: the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons, it is speculated that there will be some new reveals regarding the two popular games.

However, since Hasbro currently owns more than 1,500 brands, we can expect many more reveals. Speaking to TheGamer, host Khleo Thomas says fans can look forward to getting “...some updates regarding the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Fury.” Hasbro acquired licensing for the Power Rangers in 2019.

Because many of the brands have been around for decades, we may also get to see some of our childhood favorites, like G.I. Joe and My Little Pony get “...retroed like Jordan [sneakers]...with new color waves,” Thomas observes.

Many fans in the comments of the reveal video expressed excitement about the new Transformers releases, including Thomas, who admitted to having already purchased “...the Megatron Beast Wars Transformer,” which like many other con attendees, holds nostalgic value.

Hasbro Pulse Con will be held Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23, 2021 and will be available for fans in the United States, Canada and the UK only.
