Hoverloop is a multiplayer arena shooter where players can pit their machines against one another across a variety of maps and game types.

In the world of Hoverloop, it’s 2077 and arena combat became a huge craze that eventually beat all other forms of entertainment. Drones from all over Earth compete in what is known as the Hoverloop for a shot at victory and glory. Winners are considered elites while those who’ve failed become social pariahs. This game allows players to customize their own drone and battle for the chance to become legendary.

Fans will be able to give their drones unique abilities. For example, drones can be equipped with deathrays, super speed, control jammers, and even teleportation. You’ll have the option to fight with or against your friends in multiplayer. Right now, the game is still in Early Access, meaning that only offline split-screen is available. When the game is released this fall, online play will be playable.

  • As stated above, customization will be a huge part of this game. Players can pick and choose their favorite drone and make it their own. Options include materials, colors, hats, trails and emotes that can be paired with specific abilities.
  • Combat mechanics in this game allows players to overpower their opponents with a multitude of weapon options. For example, you can get your hands on stunners, grenades, and guns.
  • Multiplayer mode lets you play with up to four friends locally or eight players online.
  • Lastly, there’s a multitude of maps that span across numerous game modes such as cooperative PvE modes against waves of AI.

The game is set to release in fall of this year on PC and X Box One. You can read more about it at Not A Company’s site.
