To beat the offline story mode included in Splatoon 2, you are looking at spending a little under eight hours in the game. If you are looking to get all of the Sunken Scrolls and Sardinium, then this time goes up to a bit over 17 hours in the main story.

How Long Does It Take To Beat The Octo Expansion?

If you have the Octo Expansion, this will take you around seven hours to complete. If you want all the collectibles in the expansion, then the time to complete will go up to around 13 hours total for the expansion. Keep in mind that these times don't count for gathering clothes or spending time in multiplayer.

For players wondering just how much time it takes to get everything in Splatoon 2, it looks like you will need to saddle down for the long haul. Players report spending 58 hours in the game to gather all the gear, on top of completing the story and getting the collectibles. In the game there are:

  • 255 Clothing items
  • 161 Headgear items
  • 164 Pairs of shoes
