This extra content does not make the main story progress in any way, but can offer you some sweet cosmetics or give you the opportunity to explore the world further. The game will not be completed until you progress with its final chapter, so you can spend as much time on extra content as you’d like. This means taking on additional deliveries, building up relationships with preppers, literally building structures across the map, and earning more stars on your jumpsuit as you level up your environment.

A lot of the tasks and missions you encounter as a completionist will be granted in the form of memory chips or fancy cosmetics from different characters too, as you cross various cities of post-apocalyptic America.
