One of Hyper Scape's strengths is how easy it is to learn. If you're familiar with other Battle Royals, there are only 9 guns and 9 hacks to familiarize yourself with, as well as a fairly simple respawn system a map with a few unique locations. You'll be able to pick up and play Hyper Scape competently after only 1 or 2 games, but actually winning fights is another story.

Hyper Scape is a fast-paced, chaotic game that rewards twitchy mouse control and quick reflexes. You won't win fights with good aim alone, and you won't win the round unless you learn how to take advantage of the map, the weapons, and the tools available. Here are 5 tips to help you get more kills and win more games in Hyper Scape.

Never Stop Moving

Hyper Scape is a game all about momentum and energy. You'll win way more fights by being slippery and clever than you will be virtue of having good aim. The time-to-kill is Hyper Scape is higher than a lot of other BRs, so learning how to stick-and-move will give you a huge advantage in poke fights. Getting comfortable with the locomotion will give a bigger advantage in combat than any other skills, including aim training.

There are plenty of hacks to help you stay mobile, such as Teleport, Ball, and Leap, but you should also practice sliding and double jumping to traverse the rooftops and move quickly across the map. In a fight, it is necessary to constantly reposition in order to continually get the drop on your opponent. Simply put: if they know you're coming, you've probably already lost.

The flow of combat in Hyper Scape should look something like this: fire on the enemy until they see you, then reposition. Repeat until they're "critical" (depends on the guns you have) then go in on them without mercy. Staying healthy is as important as dealing damage, and the only way to do that is to keep moving. Duck into buildings to escape, use jump pads to reach high places, and never ever stay in one place.

Keep The High Ground

Obviously, you have a high ground advantage in any shooter. This is a fairly obvious point considering that the Hyper Scape battlefield is an incredibly vertical space, but it's nevertheless important to remember how valuable the high ground is and all the way you can keep it.

Aside from sightlines, most of the weapons benefit from a high ground attack. Explosives like the Komodo, Salvo EPL, and Skybreaker deal AOE damage from the point of impact and are significantly more effective when fired towards the ground. Further, enemies on the ground are typically fairly defenseless and will expend cooldowns to get to you. Enemies beneath you are predictable, so try not to find yourself beneath a well-armed opponent.

In most zones, it's relatively easy to move from rooftop to rooftop across the tallest buildings. If you must cross a low ground area, Ball and Teleport are great hacks to help you clear it quickly and get back to the high ground.

Play Around Your Hacks

The hacks you equip determine your playstyle and should be treated as your character-defining load out. It would be wise to use skills that either work together or complement each other.

There are several options for mobility. Teleport can be used offensively to chase or defensively to escape, while Ball is best used for covering a lot of ground quickly. Wall is a defensive ability than can also be used for elevation, and Slam is a great tool for getting to high ground as well as initiating fights. It's smart to have a mobility Hack and a complimentary Hack. There are any number of options, the important thing is to play to the strengths of your Hacks.

Slam and Heal work great together because you can throw yourself into combat and drop your Heal at the same time. If you surprise the enemy, you have a huge advantage. Mine is great if you bait enemies into it, so consider how Invisibility can help you get into advantage positions. It may also be wise to have 1 offensive and 1 defensive Hack, like Teleport and Armor. Whatever combo you chose, make sure you're using them appropriately.

Use The Best Guns

Hyper Scape's guns aren't in the most balanced state right now, and it's best to avoid most of the guns scattered around even if you're able to upgrade them. Stick with the handful of guns that are strongest and learn how to use them.

The Skybreaker does unbelievable damage if you know how to use it. The trick is to fire it from medium or long-range, as the blast radius will get bigger and deal more damage the longer it travels. At max level, the Skybreaker will deal 80 damage to all enemies in a wide area. A Skybreaker is always a good choice.

The undisputed damage champ is the Protocol V sniper rifle. The rifle gets stronger with each fusion, and at max level it will deal 120 headshot damage, or in other words, a one-hit-kill. It's also a hitscan weapon, making it outrageously powerful and reliable. If you can get good at sniping, you will absolutely dominate.

The Hexfire outclasses the Ripper significantly because it offers sustained damage while you chase enemies. Leveling up a Hexfire increases ammo capacity even more. When there are 96 enemies flying around all over the place, spraying and praying can take you pretty far.

Stay In The Fight

You can only respawn dead teammates where enemies have died, so while it might seem smart to cut and run when you're at a disadvantage, finishing off an enemy and respawning a teammate can get you quickly back in the fight. The best way to play Hyper Scape is fast and furious, so get some momentum and stay in the fight. You can often overwhelm opponents simply by being persistent and scaring them into playing overly safe.

We these tips, you should stand a much better chance of surviving in Hyper Scape. It isn't an easy game, but there are simple ways to gain a huge competitive advantage.
