When the first Life Is Strange was released in 2015, narrative-focused adventures were all the rage - primarily due to Telltale's rise. However, Dontnod Entertainment's title still managed to stick out. Its immensely detailed episodes, beautiful soundtrack, and well-written story all helped in that regard.

Although, the thing that stood out the most is the characters. From the heroes to the villains, the residents of Arcadia Bay are a compelling bunch, and the people voicing them deserve at least partial credit for that. Yet, they're not all household names. So for those wanting to know more about these people and what they look like, here they are.

10 Victoria Chase (Dani Knights)

Victoria Chase is the typical queen-bee of Blackwell Academy. She's self-centered, stuck-up, and mean. These qualities lead to her butting heads with Max plenty of times throughout the game.

The unsavory character is brought to life by Dani Knights. Interestingly, the actress' first time in the spotlight was because of her music. She was a part of the country-pop group known as Lakoda Rayne, who competed on X Factor. She has since pursued acting and appears in films like Restored Me and Sins of our Youth.

9 Kate Marsh (Dayeanne Hutton)

During the first two episodes, Kate Marsh gets an insane amount of abuse for her sexual behavior at a party - which happened because she was drugged. The footage of her actions gets shared around the school and pushes the poor religious girl to her breaking point. As Life is Strange is a game where your choices matter, whether she perseveres is down to you.

The unfortunate individual is voiced by Dayeanne Hutton, who some may know as a streamer on Twitch. Although, she does a fair amount of acting as well. Her most notable role is as Harriot Smith in the web-series Emily Approved.

8 Warren Graham (Carlos Luna)

Warren is Max's somewhat creepy friend. He is deeply in love with the protagonist, but with everything going on, she doesn't have much time for him. Even so, he still helps her out when she's in need.

Voicing the loyal companion is Carlos Luna. The young actor has some famous shows on his resume, including Grey's Anatomy, American Vandal, and Awkward. He also plays Domingo in Seis Manos. His list of video game credits isn't as long, yet his voice is in Red Dead Redemption 2.

7 David Madsen (Don McManus)

David Madsen is a somewhat mysterious figure throughout the game as you know little of him besides what his step-daughter Chloe tells you. And her hatred of him means she's not a reliable source. Overall, though, he seems to be a decent enough man.

His actor, Don McManus, is another one who has a strong career. Sorry For Your Loss, Mom, and Justified are a few of his most notable shows. Although, his biggest project to date has to be the movie Vice, where he portrays David Addington.

6 Joyce Price (Cissy Jones)

Chloe's mother, Joyce Prince, doesn't have it easy during the game. She's trying to create a new life with her husband, David, but his antagonistic relationship with her daughter makes it difficult.

Cissy Jones does a great job voicing Joyce, yet she gives an even better performance in Firewatch. Without her, the game might not be considered among the best walking simulators ever. A few of the other games she's been a part of include Half-Life: Alyx, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Telltale's The Walking Dead. She voices many characters in movies and television too.

5 Nathan Prescott (Nik Shriner)

While he's not the main antagonist, Nathan Prescott is undoubtedly not one of the good guys. Throughout the game, the angry teenager helps Mr. Jefferson do some sick things -albeit he's manipulated into it.

Nathan's voice is that of Nik Shriner, an actor most known for playing Tucker in General Hospital. Outside of that, his resume mainly consists of shorts and some TV movies. As with many of the cast, he voices multiple Life is Strange characters; the others include Trevor, Daniel, and Luke.

4 Mark Jefferson (Derek Phillips)

In recent history, gaming has had some impressive villains, but few are as cruel as Mr. Jefferson. The abhorrent teacher likes to drug and tie-up his female students before taking photos of them.

Derek Phillips does a great job at making Jefferson such a convincing villain. It shouldn't come as much surprise, though, as Phillips has plenty of experience in both live-action and voice work. He's most known for playing Billy Riggins in Friday Night Lights.

3 Frank Bowers (Daniel Bonjour)

Frank Bowers is the drug dealer that Max and Chloe interact with a few times in the game. While he's a prickly figure at first, the more you get to know him, the more you realize he's not pure evil.

In this original game, Daniel Bonjour is the man who plays him. He also portrays Aiden Monroe in The Walking Dead and Lev Patch in iZombie. Whereas in the video game world, he's in Final Fantasy XV and some of the Hitman titles.

2 Chloe Price (Ashly Burch)

While she may seem like a sidekick, Chloe is one of the most badass heroines around. During the game, she works tirelessly alongside Max to find out about all of the creepy things going on in Arcadia Bay. And she's an integral part of the story.

Well-known voice actor Ashly Burch voices the blue-haired trouble maker. Some of the other major video game characters she provides tones for include Aloy in Horizon Zero Dawn, Parvati in The Outer Worlds, and Tina (aka Tiny Tina) from the Borderlands series. Outside of gaming, she has roles in Attack on Titan and Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet.

1 Maxine Caulfield (Hannah Telle)

As the protagonist, the entire game revolves around Max Claufield and the difficult decisions she makes. Her goal is to find out what happened to Rachel Amber and save Arcadia Bay in the process. Luckily she's got her supernatural time-rewinding power to help.

Delivering the character's lines is actor and musician Hannah Telle. While she's not an extremely experienced video game voice actor, she does play Iris and Rose Campbell in Murder: Soul Suspect. And as for live-action, she appears in iCarly and Days of our Lives, as well as multiple short films.
